The Patriots have a short week and play Thursday night after the Tampa game on the road. Did not think the Tampa game would be flexed due to this. You might be right about the Bills game.

I'm not optimistic about that one going to prime time, because the first one was already in prime time. Moreover, they've changed the "protection" rule; it used to be that CBS and FOX got to protect five games each before the season began. Now they get to protect one game a week, around the time the final flex decisions are made.

I could certainly see that one moving to the late slot, though.

To add a bit more, I think the best bets for the Pats getting a prime time match are:
* Week 16: Pats @ Ratbirds [SNF is Bengals @ LOLphins]
* Week 18: Pats @ LOLphins, if there's something major on the line if NE wins

And, obviously, if Maye continues on his current trajectory, 2026 should see even more matches in the premium slots.

Agreed, i think hes still an asset if he stops the fumbles- which i believe he has since the buffalo game.

At the same time, im interested to get a longer look at jennings. Hes looked good in mop up duty between the tackles.

Denver is not the best team, not even close.
KC above them, Buff above them, a healthy Balt above them, Pats maybe above them (but that's debatable).
Denver has a nice roster, but at the end of the day it will come down to QBs, and I will put my money on Mahomes, Allen, Lamar and Maye over Nix all day everyday.
KC will beat them in Denver by 2 scores minimum.

My guy Surtain I saw on his podcast he suffered an injury so if he's not back by the time they play KC then KC may be able to win.. they will need to bring it they won't be beating up on the Jayden Daniel-less commanders..

This isn't the first time I've seen them practicing in the stadium. Isn't it real grass out back? Better for your knees. Wonder why he stays inside?

No. It was actually 2-2 (the pick and fumble against us and the 2 picks for us) but I count the recovered onside kick as a TO, just like you'd count a missed 4th down play.

That was my impression too but they're both 5'8" with Pop listed at 198 and Woodhead was 208 so not a huge difference.

High 40s, low 50s and sunny. But they are a dome team and haven't done well outside.
