The Dolphins offense has shown it can excel in the past. Ours has not. Amazing to say, but I have more confidence in Miami than in the Pats right now.

Right...when slow poke Stevenson running 1.7 yards a carry is gonna win us vs unleashing our gunslinger QB

I think we will make it more competitive but unfortunately start 0-2 due to our luck down there
You don't get it. You run the ball to keep the defense from pinning they're ears back and going after maye. If theres no threat of running the ball they can do that. in the past when brady was qb you could have that kind of imbalance 18 runs vs 46 passing attempts because brady could dissect the defense quickly. Mayes basically in his rookie year and can't, he doesn't have enough experiance.

History @ Miami going backwards: loss by 19, loss by 14, loss by 13, loss by 9, loss by 10, win by 43 and loss by 1 which for context is the Kenyon Drake return for a touchdown with no time left. The win by 43 was Brady's last trip to Miami as a Patriot.

After Miami got shelled by Indy I think they're going to be ready and much better teams than this one didn't win down there. My initial thought it 27-17 Miami.

For me to be wrong we better have a better plan to run the ball effectively and keep our defense off the field and our safeties cannot have the mental mistakes they did against the Raiders or Hill and Waddle will go off.

The litany of excuses for Maye are weak sauce.

Go down there and take control of this team and win the game.

I made this mistake with Mac Jones. I will not be making it again.

A loss here wouldn’t suprise me but itd be pretty alarming to lose 2 of the ‘toss up’ games back to back. Could just be miami ptsd but i can totally see tua rebounding and looking like an all star this week. Vrabel will definitely want to avoid that and getting off to this kind of start.

Hafta be able to run the ball and control the game, ESPECIALLY if you get another lead. after watching Drake struggle in the preseason games I thought the obvious plan would be to keep the training wheels on until hes more comfortable and rely on defense/ run game. But we did the exact opposite in Oakland. Not sure if jmd wanted to outsmart himself or what but we’re not going to win many games that way until maye proves alot more.

Sticking with my preseason prediction that the Pats start 1-3, so I have them losing in MIA and vs PIT.

I bought in to Maye hype last year.

I did not blame Mayo or the OC. I hope we aren't entering another Bledsoe excuse era of Pats football with Maye.

Not farfetched

Rogers has found a home in Pitt.

Although the Patriots always have a change to implode in Miami no matter how good they are and how bad Miami are, but I do like their chances.

I think Mike McDaniel is the worst type of coach for a team in their position. I don't think the players respect him. Last year, there were five players he fined over and over again for violations and they still didn't give a crap. They amassed over half of the team's fines for the year.

And Tua, rather than taking any responsibility for his crappy play on Sunday, called out his teammates for not studying enough.

I think this team is ready to implode.

Ready? Methinks they already have although the Pats in Miami might not matter. Brady got his **** pushed in down there more often than not.

Now this inspires confidence. If I was a Dolphins fan, I would be wishing right now that Mike McDaniel could give press conferences as well as Jerod Mayo. I am serious, this is worse than a Mayo press conference.

Not as a good of a start as @BobDigital but here you go. Kill the fish or 0-2, thoughts?

I'm thinking it's a first win against the Dullphins in Miami in a while and that Vrabel uses the Raiders game to get the team focused. What say you?
I'd love to agree, and I'm leaning towards Vrabel finding a way to finally beat Tua.. can you tell me when is the last time we've beaten the fins? I can't remember.

Agreed. I'm really and truly hoping we can win.. Tua has owned us.. winning in a place we've struggled in historically and beating a QB we've yet to beat would do so much.. plus it's a division win if so.

Must win for both teams. I think the Pats win. By 10.

Seriously, Miami got utterly blown off the field on both sides of the ball. To a mediocre team lead by Danny Dimes.

We lost a one score game. To a mediocre team.

Miami was by far, the worse looking team last week

Pats have won only 2 of their last 12 in Miami and only 9-21 there since 1995.

Really strange that they can't win consistently there.
