Must win for both teams. I think the Pats win. By 10.

Seriously, Miami got utterly blown off the field on both sides of the ball. To a mediocre team lead by Danny Dimes.

We lost a one score game. To a mediocre team.

Miami was by far, the worse looking team last week
Miami offense still scares me.. I'd be more confident in our ability to slow waddle and hill if gonzo was playing. Tua just has a knack for beating us for some reason.. it's inexplicable..

Pats Defense should keep them in the game. Vrabel should have a better plan than whatever the **** Bill did versus Tua in the past.
That being said the heat will be a factor in the 4th quarter. If the offense doesn't get their **** together then the Phins end up on top. Nothing this past Sunday told me the offense has it's act together yet.
24-17 Fish over Pats

Now this inspires confidence. If I was a Dolphins fan, I would be wishing right now that Mike McDaniel could give press conferences as well as Jerod Mayo. I am serious, this is worse than a Mayo press conference.

Weren't there rumors that he's a junkie?

It used to be that no matter what else was going wrong, we could count on Bill to get our DBs playing well (or at least well enough). I don't have that confidence with the current coaches yet.

Miami has 2 dangerous guys on the outside.. we keep at least one in check.. I anticipate Vrabel allowing Drake to play more free using his athletic ability to create.. this is why we drafted him.. he isn't strictly a pocket passer.. Patriots 21- fins 13

Somethings not right with Hill. Don’t want to jinx anything by saying he’s washed, but he’s been in a funk for a while.

Waddle, Hill and Tua are all in the back 9 of their careers.

Yeah possibly. I'd just feel more comfortable with having our full compliment of guys.. however guys will have to step up. Hill is what 30 31?

Tua and Waddle are 27 yo

Tua and Waddle are 27 yo

Waddle’s production for whatever reason has been down for the last 2 years. But you’re right he’s 26.

Tua does not have a long career ahead of him. And I say that as a physician who does TBI work

I'm reaching here but I think I remember Vrabel saying something about focusing on conditioning. Maybe they looked past LV to MiHami and got caught? Thinking more on the coaching side. Also wonder if the 50+ pass plays was McDs way of getting Maye reps to start catching up from the lack of PS snaps. Maybe they didn't completely care about coming out of LV with a win if they could start coaching Maye up in the real world.

Not as a good of a start as @BobDigital but here you go. Kill the fish or 0-2, thoughts?

I'm thinking it's a first win against the Dullphins in Miami in a while and that Vrabel uses the Raiders game to get the team focused. What say you?
Call me unrealistically optimistic but I'm choosing to believe that the good camp reports of Maye are more indicative of him than a jitters-induced season opener. So I'm actually leaning towards it being a bounce back game for the offense and we come out 1-1.

Apologies in advance to fellow fans if that is a little too optimistic. I can always just say the entire team will die of heat exhaustion and be penalized a first round pick for it, if that's better

They just signed Cole Strange from Cleveland's practice roster. Lol

I Share your Optimism even after Sunday I was still Optimistic. This team has put in the work all off season and training camp. I tend to believe this team is overall still better and better coached going forward.

Yeah, there have been way uglier losses between 2001 and 2018. I'm not quite ready to blow everything up and toss Maye out the back door. I'll panic when I see the full picture at the end of the year

They being the Dudphins not the Pats.

Even if it is a loss, I want them to go out punching and it be a nailbiter, I wanna see Maye take charge of his throwing and march his offense down confidently. It doesn't have to be a win, but it also can't be a "come out extremely flat in the second quarter, fail to play all 60 minutes at an NFL level" type ****.

Punish teams for ever taking us as an easy win. Pulverize. If Miami walks out with a win, make them ask "wait was that even worth it?"
