Minor competed okay. His problems were all technique related that I saw. He got beat a ton but could improve. And none of that matters, anyway, if he's playing special teams exclusively. Let's see how it plays out before we complain too much.

I am finding it difficult to be very excited about this team as currently constructed, however. Too many questions marks at too many premium positions.
Had they won wich was a very winnable game last week the narrative would be very different. I've tempered my expectations however I still feel good about the overall direction and what Vrabel is doing with the team. We been at the bottom for a while now and we just have to continue to climb rung by rung. As long as we are seeing progress this season it's a positive sign.

I have the typical old man New Englander outlook (shaped way back when by guys like Shaugnessy, McDonough, and Borges unfortunately) where the sky is always falling and there is never a silver lining. I'm trying to purge such thoughts and focus on the little things...fundamentals improvements, changes to what isn't working, and accountability.

Want to see if techniques that hurt the team last week have been corrected (you know - coaching and accepting said coaching)

Is the run totally abandoned again (especially with the Phins having so many pass rushers it would seem they might not be a run stopping juggernaut as last I knew they weren't full of five tool great defensive players)

If certain guys didn't work out, other guys get some run (Gibson, Williams, Henderson, Jennings, Chism, etc)

A tough win against the Phins woul make us all happy. Miami is right for the taking: but I don't know if this Team is up to the task.

Candidly? If the Pats can’t beat Miami right now, I have serious reservations that they are on the right track.

Not because I expect them to be even average, but because Miami is teetering on the”dumpster fire “ and even bad teams should beat a team like that.
I agree with you. That said, I am not sure NE will win and I fear they are further away from “the right track” than many here had hoped.

Twin.. the Patriots beat themselves.. nothing The raiders did beat the patiots.. blitzing untimely, coverage bust, missing wide open guys, missing FGs those are all unforced errors.

I think expectations are tempered however I still feel like the overall direction is headed in the right place. We have to remember this organization is coming off back to back 4 win seasons, the departure of a coaching legend in BB, a bottom roster for the past few seasons. The right track is them being competitive on offense and Drake leading his team to wins.
