Other than Gonzalez, Davis, Dugger, Peppers & Woodson, who makes the roster

see him as run stuffing S.

Woodson has enough speed (4.45) to be a FS. He's bigger (200lb) and a shade faster than Devin McCourty. Of course we don't know if he has the smarts yet - those might take a few years to develop.
Davis is 6'1 but plays like he's 6'7 on the outside

Good example where RAS doesn't tell the story - he had very middling measurables.

This is probably as much quality and depth that I have seen in a long time, more reason for optimism...
Throw in a hybrid like Mapu lots of interesting schemes..
I had similar thoughts on secondary last year but I think the pass rush hurt that. With White, adding Milt, and today's news about Barmore we have a pass rush to pair with it now too.

Would it be crazy to trade for a safety?

peppers was pretty good roll by BB and having one guy to play that lighter dude in the secondary is what i think we are missing for real

Between all positions, secondary is the one where we are super irrealistacaly asking for a trens of injuries to stop, with nothing as depth

maybe a 3rd rounder from 2027 for a good young Fs?

I trust Vrabel and the front office to identify remaining weaknesses and to continue to work to address them. Depth at corner appears to be a weakness, so I expect that we will see them bringing some in.

Woodson is going to be the long term starter, and he’s going to be a good one.

Who's our #3 Outside CB behind Gonzo & Carlton the Doorman? And who's our #2 Slot CB behind Marcus?

Yes - these are damn good numbers, particularly for someone who went undrafted. Would have ranked him 6th among CBs in the recent draft.

He had a long circuitous route through college, he played multiple different positions. At the end of the day he played and is a great athlete. He could have a better pro career than college one… it happens sometimes.

Will whoever added the poll please have Epps as a separate choice.

Also, there should be a place for a new acquisition, IMO much more likely than any of the bottom 4 and Minkins.

I want to be able to register my view that Epps is likely to be one our starting defensive backs (until Woodson takes over that position). And the view that Minkins is very unlikely to make the 53.

I expect us to have 5 corners plus 4 safeties, although I am fine with a 5th safety.

2 outside corners, a NB, plus the combination of Austin and one (or even two) PS/UDFA types is just not sufficient.
