I just thought that I would post where I think we are. Other than the obvious need for another corner (for at least 2 seasons), we seem to be OK. My list includes
(and, NO, I'm not doing this for the Offense for at least another couple of weeks

STARTERS
Gonzalez
Davis
M Jones
Peppers
Dugger
Schooler (ST's)

BACKUPS
Austin
James (WOW!)
Dial
Woodson
Hawkins

I prefer Bolden over Dial but otherwise looks good.

This is one for future years, but I’d like better at safety. Nothing wrong with Dugger or Peppers; I’d just like better as starters eventually.

Edit: Much the same goes for the nickel position.

Is Peppers or Dugger the free safety?

Woodson will be starting week 1.

Neither. I think they Ideally want the safeties to be interchangeable so as not to declare coverage presnap.

If they do go to single high coverage its probably JayHawk and maybe Woodson.

I'm not sure about Epps or Petus.

BACKUPS

James (WOW!)
Has definitely made his presence felt in camp, taking advantage of nearly every opportunity he's been given... should absolutely make the 53...

Trivia. DJ James went one pick before Joe Milton in the 2024 draft.

Bolden says hello.

I am not hearing much about Milton Williams in camp...is he doing ok? Same goes with landry too.. davis has not started practicing.

Technically all high paid defensive starters are silent so far..
