I don’t have a problem with, I’m just citing it as an example of how much they wanted a good left tackle in free agency. It’s not their fault there was no one else available. And I sure as hell didn’t want them giving Dan Moore 82 million.
I understood, but when people throw the tampering claim around, it helps to be clear that every team does it and in the report about it, it literally mentions two other teams as well.

I didn't want Moore with that contract, but I was okay with Robinson on a one-year deal and am still ok with Smith on a one-year deal to give them some flexibility to get a rookie who isn't ready to go at the start of the season.

Not a fan of Robinson but we agree on the rest.

People can go all negative all they want, but the fact we have good players signing and visiting is a massive change from last year. Show some improvement on the field and people will come. Good players want to play for good teams. We need to hammer this draft and show on field progress. Hiring Vrabel and the other coaches is a great first step. Have to show it on the field now.

Let’s sign Diggs please.
Team need swagger at wr.

Washington just signed Gallup, I actually really like that signing for them.

As an aside Taylor Kyles reported the Juwan Bentley is slimming down in preparation of this year and scheme change,

He's like a WR4 for them, that's actually an incredible signing.

This is interesting little nugget.
It would seem to indicate Vrabel and Williams want him around.

It also would seem to mean they don't think he is a perfect fit for the system.

Which now means he has to come back from injury and learn to play the position at a slimmer weight at the same time.

He's too good of a player to not find some sort of role for him, but if the conversation was "Lose 20 lbs, and you'll be on the field more", then his option was obvious.

He tore his pec back in mid-Sept. That's was a full 7 months ago. Assuming he hasn't had a major setbacks he should be OK to work out.

With that said I agree. If he can't get lighter and play the way they want him to play, he'll be gone

I thought his coverage improved as he got more experience and maybe that will improve even more at a new weight. I like him so hope he makes it work.

I’ve been thinking about this.

Compared to his first two years, he was like Patrick Chung out there.

I do worry if he slims down too much he won't hit as hard, but I guess that's the trade-off, and what we'll find out.

Those torn pecs can be brutal with reinjury. Im
glad we added 2 LBs in FA.

I think quicker will be good for Bentley. He is very instinctive and aggressive. A little extra quickness should help him. And of course you don’t need as much bulk because the system asks you to do different things. It take a pretty stout ILB to 2 gap on Gs all day.

I agree that its a great signing. With McLaurin, Deebo, McCaffery, Noah Brown and Osborn is a pretty great group and Gallup is a good WR

I really wanted them to sign Jenkins, but given how long he was a free agent it makes me wonder what the issue is with him or if it was the money he wanted was too much.
Same, waiting to see financials
