Tell me about Pittsburgh LT Dan Moore.

He has the athleticism of pro players who are 50lbs lighter than him. That's insane. Most of his teammates and competition were older and more developed than him. At age 20 with his physical gifts it's crazy to think he can't learn LT.

This isn't in the same planet as last year's failed RT to LT conversions, who were all 4+ years older and had less athleticism than Membou's pinky toe.

Agree completely. Many here are now locked in this mindset where any kid who played right tackle in college is now a right tackle for life, when most of them would have moved back over to the left if they stayed in school.

Please don’t sign Dan Moore, it’s a total waste of money. Replacing a bad tackle with a bad tackle.

So, Dan Moore is no better than Lowe? really?

I’m not interested in signing guys who are slightly better. Find other ways to address the problem. Jaylon Moore has more upside, that’s a better move imo.

He was a RT as a 19-20 year old, not for four years like Caeden Wallace, and he’s as athletic as any tackle in the draft. Josh Simmons was a RT at OSU before switching to LT and getting hurt, should he be seen as a RT only? These kids come out of high school as left tackles. They move to right tackle as underclassmen because the upperclassmen are ahead of them on the depth chart, then many move back to left tackle when they become juniors and seniors. The mindset at Patsfans has now become that any kid who played right tackle is now a right tackle for life, and it’s idiotic.

Both Campbell and Banks have been playing LT at major programs since the day they stepped on campus......Simmons actually played RT at JCO, then won the LT job at OSU after he transferred.

I never said guys couldn't do it, I said some people have a problem doing it, and I would prefer to spend high picks to have guys plays positions they excelled at in college. Not draft them high, have them step up in competition then flop sides of the line....will it work for some players? Of course, will others fail and get labeled busts because their coaches set them up for failure....same answer, yes

Simmons played RT at OSU before moving to LT.

Membou is only 20.

Are you truly afraid neither will be there at 8 (even discounting the possibility of Simmons)?

Actually Mg I don’t think there’s anything to worry about in trading back. It’s not like the Blue Chip talent ends at #4 in this Draft. There are a bunch of players I like if they traded down, and they could probably get the same one they would take at #4 even if they traded down a few spots. This is a different draft than most, because there’s only 1 blue chip player, Travis Hunter, and no Franchise QB’s.

I'm not a fan of Dan Moore also like warm on Cam Robinson. I would take Chance on Campbell or Banks on a Trade down. And try to get a LT again in 26 Campbell or Banks wouldn't be the end of the world for us.

I would get RT Ozzie Trapilo BC he would be an immediate RT and he has played Guard too. A Combination of Cam Robinson or Jedrick Willis would be good too. I would not break the Bank for Cam Robinson... J Willis shouldn't be expensive.

I would love to see the reference of RT at OSU, I actually looked into it a week or two ago, and everything I read shows he won the LT job after the transfer.

Not definitive, but his OSU bio:

I was going by another poster who said Simmons Played RT at OSU in 22’, but it turns out that was at San Diego State before transferring to OSU, but either way he still played RT before playing LT, which was my overall point. Most kids play RT as underclassmen before moving over to LT when they get older. The fact that they play at RT as 19-20 year old’s doesn’t mean they are wed to RT forever. Many here think that because they drafted Caeden Wallace to play LT and it didn’t work that it means that any kid who played at RT in college can’t transition to LT, and that simply isn’t the case.

I want Both Robinson And Wills.

Dan at that money and length of contract that the Titans scares me. He has some upside, but they can have him for that money.

So the Titans are drafting a QB?

To put him on IR $80Mill for a guy not much better than Lowe. Their GM much be the accountant from Enron.
