giving up the 4 is a steep price... swap seconds maybe, offer a 3rd in 2026?We send Seattle our #4 Overall and Joe Milton III for WR D.K. Metcalf, CB Tariq Woolen, and their 2nd Round Pick?
But Woolen is a 6'4 210 lb 4.2 something #1 CB that with Gonzo would be almost unstoppable. And we'd have a true #1 WR for Maye, and 2 2nd Round Picks. Plus we still have 2 3rd Round Picks. We can address quite a few needs. Yesterday you said "Go big or go home". This is that. And that's not counting who we might get in FA.giving up the 4 is a steep price... swap seconds maybe, offer a 3rd in 2026?
I like it we would fill some serious Needs. But Woolen is a 6'4 210 lb 4.2 something #1 CB that with Gonzo would be almost unstoppable. And we'd have a true #1 WR for Maye, and 2 2nd Round Picks. Yesterday you said "Go big or go home". This is that.
Plus, we'd now have 2 2nd Round Picks, still have our 2 3rd Round Picks, etc. get a #WR in Metcalf, a 6'4 210 lb 4.2 something 40 #1 CB to go with Gonzo. And that's not counting what we might get in FA. And, Ronnie Stanley and every other FA (who we can pay more than their teams, look at that infusion of a # WR and #1 CB to go with Maye, Gonzo, etc, and that works in our favor as a destination to sign with.I like it we would fill some serious Needs.
He can live in RI.Metcalf would bring exactly what pats need!
Swag, phyicality, confidence and-raw speed
But I think he said ge does not like the Boston area. So I doubt it happens
It was never an option for Philly, but most teams call about just about every player. Thats just the usual order of business and the media just runs with it for content. He isn't getting traded from Philly for financial reasons. If it wasn’t an option the Patriots wouldn’t have called but they did.
No idea how conversations went, are if they are ongoing still or not, but I wouldn’t say it’s impossible, unlikely is a good word.
While the dream is still alive
No we don’t. Eagles would get killed with a HUGE dead cap hit if they trade Brown, no chance they trade him. He's going to the Packers. As crazy as it sounds (almost impossible), we have a better shot at A.J. Brown).
30 million dead cap hit between 2025 and 2026 if tradedNo we don’t. Eagles would get killed with a HUGE dead cap hit if they trade Brown, no chance they trade him.
Not if the trade is post June 1st. But Metcalf is going to the Packers most likely. No we don’t. Eagles would get killed with a HUGE dead cap hit if they trade Brown, no chance they trade him.
