Hopefully, that pick is huge. Took a quick peek at next week’s games, it does look favorable for us for the sos tiebreaker if it comes to it. But right now its 469 to 472 and im thinking a 9ers win pushes it in their favor.

Is Johnson for sure looking to be a hc next year or might he hold off again if the Lions don’t win it all? I can’t see them winning it all with this defense unless they are getting some guys back in a couple weeks.

Yeah, I have a spreadsheet, ran all the scenarios. Lions lose they are tied on tie breaker but the Pats winning makes the Bills record worse and the Pats record better but basically the Jags would need to have Pats win, they win and then Giants, Bears, Chargers, Ravens, and Bengals all win. If Lions win Pats clinch no worse than 4.

I believe that is right but a small % chance I missed something.

I love the way Campbell goes on 4th down, analytics say that's the thing to do, but most coaches are too chicken. Of course he has the great offense, doesn't hurt

Good stuff, the jags losing would also boost indys record which counts more for them since they have more matchups with them. Same as your bills point. Ravens winning actually helps us so thats a plus, although if pitt loses i wonder if they rest people with the 3 seed sewn up. Edit: nmind, browns winning ultimately is better for us since that keeps cle from leaping us!

Was just wondering about Johnson as im not sure we’ll move on from mayo this soon, but I think next year is possible.

With Titans and Giants also playing resting teams' there is good chance we can get top 3 even with a win. Of course, losing is best. but 3rd allows you to get Hunter. 4th you are looking at Carter/Banks. #1 or 2 brings trade possibilities.

Browns are afraid to put in Zappe because he might win and ruin their draft position. Every 2-3 games, he's got a great half in him, and you never know when it's gonna pop up. The key is to put him in when the game is well out of reach, unless you have a kicker that sucks (like Ryland last year) when Zap put the Pats well within FG position for the tie against the Gy-nas.
