QUITE A LOT HAS HAPPENED ON OFFENSEReally nothing's changed since week one, except adding a really good rookie QB.
Which is exciting. Agreed.
But what else has happened?
That we know Boutte and Hooper are backups?
NOT ENOUGH?
We have had positive evaluation for the future at QB, RB, TE and WR.
We have learned:
that we have our QB
that we know that we have two solid RB's
that we know that we have two solid TE's (presuming that Hooper is extended)
that we know that we have two WR's for the future (OK, they are not #1 WR's) in Douglas and Boutte
that Bourne is still available and competent as one of our WR's
Robinson has risen to backup quality and likely has a future for us as a backup
We seem to have found a someone in Brown to compete for a backup position at center
ALSO
Polk, Baker and Wallace have shown less than nothing
We have also evaluated several players, some of whom are gone.
