I think on Maye's fundamentals they've done a good job - he has seemingly corrected a lot of what were mechanical issues coming out of college. That said, technically in play design and play calling - horrid. Predictable and simplistic without adjustments to take advantage of what the defense shows it is giving up.

So AVP as QB coach - sure sign me up.

In case you didn't notice, that whole time Maye was scrambling on that TD play, about 12 to 13 seconds, our lovely Guard Michael Jordan didn't touch a single defensive player

I think that award would probably go to Chad Jackson, who had Tom Brady throwing to him also....

Not ready to throw him into the "bust" category quite yet, personally... Awful OL and instability with OC and QB must make this a little more difficult projection.

NKeal Harry, Aaron Dobson, Bethel Johnson (as a WR - great return guy, however) are honorable mentions...

His production is worse than everyone in that list. And he was anointed a starter day 1.

Build is not built ... Most of the dead cap would be the blob Onwenu.
I did not say 'built a back half of the roster' ... I said "build a back half of the roster" .. there are a few who can play from those groups.

Dead cap is no big deal ... but it can hinder things as you know.
They are way better off spending next year ... IMO

Are you not saying here that build a back half of the roster is what is successfully being done? Because it’s not. The back half of our roster is probably the worst in the NFL. Which isn’t shocking because we let the house gave 40 mill of our cap and have been picking up guys who were cut and playing them regularly.

This play is fine. It looks like Jones was passed Ridley off to Gonzo but Gonzo saw the quick pass was already coming out so Gonzo dumped his assignment and ran to where the ball was going, and ultimately helped break it up, which lead to the INT.

So Jones did his job, and Gonzo made a good instinctual play. Nothing wrong here

Both Gonzo and Marcus were looking right at Rudolph when he threw it, and that was before Ridley broke open, so we don't know if either of them had that responsibility. Gonzo jumps it because he sees it. Seems to me Ridley was Gonzo's because you definitely want someone in Marcus's spot in case of a slant.

This disastrous season comes down to 2 things - and they are as fundamental as a field is 100 yds.

Inability to stop the run. Cause = Front 7. Blame = Wolf & Mayo/Covington & Injury
Inability to run the ball. Cause = OL. Blame = Wolf/Mayo & Injury
