There is a silver lining. If we get lucky and win ugly games like this against wounded teams who would destroy us if healthy, the front office might be able to argue their terrible plan is working and they are on the right track.

I’d rather go 1-16 and make the FO admit they screwed up then go 5-12 and have them think it’s progress and we have to continue along this bogus path

He knows the plan. Play Brissett until he gets hurt, then play Maye or play Brissett the whole year and play Maye in 2025 when they've hopefully stabilized the O-line.

The pass protection was good enough today that they could have put in maye in the fourth quarter. The only reason i can think of as to why they didn't is that if maye played well they'd have a qb controversy

As much as it pains me to say it, I agree

Realistically we all knew there would be struggles.. but this bad! We are worse than last seasons offense. I understand we have injuries to key players. But even with those guys we were a terrible offense. I was so convinced that we'd be a better team even while struggling.

Playing Maye is best thing we could do. We need to attract FAs and maye with KB, Polk and pop could have a nice connection for the offense.

The rest is just speculation. The Pats were in such bad shape roster wise, it will take a couple years to figure out what's what.

Run blocking was sound, but the OC is too incompetent to take advantiage of this obvious fact.

This team is, well, the worst in the league, so there's plenty of blame to go around, but noi combinations of the o-linemen on the roster can be worth a damn except in flashes, and the coaching of the o-line must be in question.
