That last play was so dumb. Miami basically said "throw it to this guy and we'll let him catch it". We did. He did. Game over.
I hate to say it but I can see the vision. Maybe he catches it on the run and hits the sideline for one more play. Unfortunately he had to stop for the ball that's game over

Bad team, bad QB. Defense played better than I would have thought down safeties but this is a brutal loss. Even at his best, Brisket isn't good.

Boutte showed up a lot in the run game, as well in the pass game as limited as it was. He better not get cut.
Defense was actually awful. Tyler Huntley at Qb and #1 RB out, worst offense in NFL and we allowed them to run for 193 yards gain 372 of total offense and gain 24 first downs. The score only stayed low because they kept shooting themselves in the foot.

That TD that was not. Was it a bad throw or a bad catch?

How was that not a TD? lol what a joke, no difference than when someone toe taps and goes out
apparently toe tapping only counts going forward, if going backwards the whole foot needs to be in????

Press conferences incoming:

Ok / so what league official is going to call Julio Jones to let him know he’s one reception short for Super Bowl LI??

Yeah, that one was interesting. Hadn't ever heard that before, either.

Honestly would've liked to see more control from Polk it didn't look like he had to do all that to catch the ball

This is a bad team, but I’m completely convinced if Maye start from day one they would be 3-2 and tied for the division.
I don’t see a good spot for him until the Rams game now, unless they want to start him in London

The Texans can get after the quarterback I don’t think they’re gonna start him against them

I don’t think his first game will be on the road either

113 yds passing?
Biscuit might be the nicest guy ever, but he sucks at football.

If we can't beat a Miami team that's playing that badly, we can't expect to beat anyone.
Just embrace the higher draft pick. We all knew this year would amount to little anyway, All we can hope for is for Maye to come in at some point and play well and the other young guys to show promise.

How on any planet is a toe not enough in the end zone. Give me a break if polk had landed on his back first to counts how stupid is that
The rule is very straightforward. If after landing on his toe he jumped up with it, then all that’s needed is the toe and it’s a TD. Instead he let the foot continue to fall, and the heel fell out of bounds. This has been the rule since forever.

Both, JB needs to see it earlier to make it an easier throw, and Polk needs better body control he had enough space and time to get both feet down even with the late throw from JB
