It sounds like the OL is going to be Lowe-Jordan-Leverett-Owenu-Jacobs. Based on how Jordan has played and Leverett played last week we should at least have solid IOL which should allow JB to have a better pocket without Layden "Olay" Robinson at RG and allowing stupid fast pressures.

OT- Lowe, Jacobs
OG-Jordan, Owenu
C leverett

backups-Hudson, Sow, Thomas
Jacobs was scary bad last week but maybe it was the Bosa effect really making him look so bad?
Lowe, we don't really know if he has improved enough to handle LT.

Dolphins have an OK pass rush, Calais Campell is still a really good player, overall, Dolphins are a middle of the pack defense.
BUT that projected Pats Offensive line is probably slightly better than what they had the last 2 weeks.

If Patriots pull out a win, while favored, at home, it'll calm down some of the fellowship of the miserable.

However, since they seem to be tanking the season a win does not help the bigger picture.

I personally think the Tackle drafted 20th might end up as good as the tackle drafted #3 so I would like to see some improvement by the team just to feel like the coaching staff is competent. That is still a big question mark. Short week against Jets and on the road Against the best team in the NFL, I give them a small pass but losing to the crap Dolphins at home, would not be good.

I really hope Onwenu is back at guard starting this week. I’m glad the team is at least acknowledging his ideal position is at G.

Going to watch with interest if the guys play with gap integrity so as big to give Huntley room to take off.

Make him make a living in the pocket.

So White has got to do his job. Not play hero ball.

And bench Uche if he freelances in his quest for sacks and the big payday.

He may be back at OG because we are not ready to have Thomas start.

I don't know if you were able to see the interview with Scott Peters but he said that in an ideal world you would have him at OG. You are right, I am very glad that they have admitted to that. I wish they had gone that route before Wallace got hurt but injuries have kind of dictated our OL rotations.

Olayden Robinson is his new nickname for me until he gets better at pass pro

Blessing in disguise.. I did not see Sow on the injury report
Has Sow been activated? If not I don't think he would appear. Is there 3 weeks before he has to be activated?

Sow played last week against the 9ers. LG #62 was not great in pass pro.

I don't see Sow on the injury list. Is it Sow and Jordan at the OG's?

Not sure what his thought process is for gamesmanship or impact on team on saying it outright due to a need for “transparency” vs. just simply doing it on game day, but..
.

A buddy and I were talking earlier about the lack of motion in the offense. I was hoping to get some feedback on the following.

Something I don't think people are taking into consideration is that when the offense motions the defense checks and that can change the look for the OL. Our OL is pretty bad to start with so if they are getting a different look right before the snap I doubt they are able to make the correct adjustments on the fly.

Thoughts/opinions

We don't know much about Mayo as a coach. He could very well surprise me and stick to whatever gameplan they have about how long to play Brissett, but he must know how his players feel and if an entire stadium full of fans are chanting the same thing, it'd take a lot of strength to stand up to that. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I wanted to get back to this to point out what's become a real dilemma for Mayo. Bedard argues that the coaching staff is at a "crossroad."

But to me, the only person who's really at a crossroad is Mayo himself, who has a real challenge facing him right now. We're aware of a clear cut case of mutiny growing within the ranks because the QB driving the offense is driving like grandma drives a schoolbus (to use a metaphor I have used before). That schoolbus is going to feel like it's never to get anywhere, so the frustration is understandable.

But- if Mayo gives ground or makes concessions to this mutiny, the inmates are going to think they can run the asylum anytime they want, especially when there is a problem. This won't be the last problem that this young team lacking an identity, will face, as it grows into its identity over the next few years.

So that's the real "crossroad" for Mayo. Does he remain the "player-friendly" coach and acknowledge or respect their frustration and risk his standing? Or does he take a page from the BB playbook, throw down the gauntlet and not yield an inch? He will lose the personal touch but be able to keep that locker room in order.

Or can he find some sort of middle ground?

Interesting times are ahead... for sure.

depending on how this game goes, I may or may not stop watching this season. I'm only really interested in committing 4 hours to watching competitive football, and so far the last couple of games has been anything but.

Horrible job by the front office thus far.
I've stopped watching many of the other games but I'll keep watching the Pats. I'm a glutton for punishment.

LOL! "Clear cut".
