Wow, what a comedy of errors there. They made the initial dumb decision to not spike the ball, and then Lawrence doubles down on the stupidity and doesn’t have the common sense to throw that into the stands instead of to a receiver in the flat two yards past the LOS with a defender in close pursuit.

That whole "bend don't break" mindset was maddening, especially as offenses kept getting better. After he left and Flores took over, it was amazing how the philosophy changed and how much more aggressive they got and it's fortunately continued.
