Tom Curran: Sources made 'clear to me' decision to move on from Belichick made after Germany game

I literally linked PFR and where all the stats I used are and they have us ranked 9th in terms of percentage of drives to end in an offensive score against our defense. Your own source.

You screen shotting something means nothing when we are using the same source and I'm giving you the links and other people are coming up with the same stats lol
Yeah, you linked it and read the stats wrong. I just provided a screenshot and taught you how to read stats properly. Thank me.

You can't read stats and don't even realize you look foolish. Read what I wrote, tell me where I'm wrong.
Funny how you are the only one in disagreement on what the stats are.

Tell me what stat I was wrong about?

You LITERALLY asked for yards and tds allowed and myself and Ian came up with the exact same rankings.

Points and yards allowed by the defense. I already said this and showed you why.

You're too dumb to understand... but you're smart. Laughable...

I used to play flag football on Sunday morning in my 20s and you're all idiots.

Bro multiple sources have you wrong on this. You clearly aren't as smart as you think you are. Why don't you link your source.

I don't think he needs to be ridiculed, but it's entirely possible he clicked the wrong thing. That's one of the reasons I made the stats database thing here - at least for the Patriots' offensive stats - because PFR's site is incredibly confusing and difficult to use.

I’m gonna have to disagree with you here. I see very little hate for Bill. You have a small group of people but those same folks have been hating on Bill for years, even the good ones. Most of the board is thankful and gives Bill his due. I’d also like to point out that it hasn’t been just a few down years. The talent on the team has gotten progressively worse, whether through FA or the draft. Bill just doesn’t hit on them the way he used to. The constant zigging while everyone else zags has caught up to him.

Agreed. The guys that hate on Bill have always hated on him. Who knows why. The Pats are not that bad, they need a QB. The question is how to get back to a SB? A new high draft pick QB is a great start.

I do not think BB is doing the drafting anymore. Kraft said they restructured the scouting which is code for BB does not make all of the drafting decisions anymore.

The discussion point is why wait so long when Mac is a bust? Did BB miss that Mac was a bust and was pigheaded about playing Mac? Or was Kraft telling BB to play Mac? If BB erred and played Mac then he should go. If Kraft was telling BB to play Mac then BB will be back. It is no more complicated than that.

If Zappe wins 3 out of the last 4 BB is definitely back. If Zappe wins 2 out of 4, I still think BB returns.

Anyone that thinks Curran or Breer has "sources" fails to learn from history.

I literally provided PFR's graphic on the previous page.

I'll write this so a 12 year old can understand it.

Total points allowed, the stat the NFL shows above and the one to the left on PFR is a team stat. It includes all of Mac Jones interceptions returned for a TD as points against, it includes fumbles picked up by opponents and brought back to the house, it includes kickoff and punt returns for a TD.

Points Per Drive isolates points that only the defense allowed. It's a much more accurate stat to judge defense or offense in isolation.

Mac Jones leads the NFL in pick sixes... this weren't points our defense gave up meathead.

So again, you just got schooled by a local simpleton.

The NFL only tallies total points. They don't separate defense from team.
LOL, so based on that, they're ranked even better than 8th? Is that what you're saying?

I already found out where you ****ed up in reading the stat btw. I'm sure if you ponder it enough you can see the obvious mistake.

Btw even your own source still disagrees with you. They have a seperate stat that isolates the percentage of scores against the defense on the Patriots on each drive. They are ranked 9th. Same data set you are using.

Sounds like in pretending you schooled someone, you should go back to school and learn how to read data

If Mac Jones throws a pick six... did our defense allow those points?
I'm not arguing with you - I'm asking if that's the case, are they not ranked higher than 8th? Or are you going to make me go on PFR and start messing with their tools to figure it out on my own? Their site drives me bonkers and I'd rather not.

Why are the Patriots ranked 9th in percentage of defensive drives to end in a score? Why are they ranked 29th in turnovers? Why are they ranked 17th in net yards per pass attempt against.

Can you explain why all of these stats contradict you

Bottom right, highlighted in yellow.

5th in points allowed, 4th in yards allowed.

They could and should be a lot better at forcing turnovers, but lets face it, when our offense is near dead last in points, yards, turnovers, time of possession and first downs... what the defense has done is ridiculously good.

Ian you are on your own on this, you can deal with Wozzy and the nightmare of PFR. I have to divorce myself from this for my own sanity.

You're not very bright, despite saying you were and being insulting.

Considering the amount of short fields and actual points given up by the Mac Jones-led offense, that is pretty impressive.
