Buffalo (h) and Miami (a) sandwiched in between 4 bad teams; NO, LV, Wash, Indy.

With winnable games with LA, Giants, jets, Pitt, Denver still to go, there is a lot of season left.

4 or 5 wins in those 6 games sets them up in decent shape to finish strong.

BB is winless against Josh McDaniels the HC FYI. I don't think this time it will be any different.

The pats offense has arguably the worst WR duo in the NFL. Parker & Juju have combined for 36 targets 21 receptions 189 yards 0 TDs 2 INTs 49.4 passer rating. Their OL is mediocre with no RT & their best linemen in Onwenu has regressed from last year. Stevenson is averaging 2.7 YPC. With Judon & Gonzalez out the pats don't have one probowl caliber player on the entire roster. They are 28th in the NFL with a -42 point differential.

They are one of the bad teams.

Can we trade juju for a seventh rounder and absorbing 9 million cap hit. So 5 million for 1.5 years for the next team.

Same goes for Parker . At this point I would much rather roll the dice with Boutte, Douglas and Thornton and hope 1 of them pan out. It's useless trotting out the veterans . Bourne, Henry are enough.

Every one of those teams score more than the Pats, except the Giants. I guessed 8 wins before the season. I've dropped that to 7, if we're lucky. Too bad we don't play ARI, CHI & CAR.

What do we get for winning? Lets just go out and compete and ball out. Protect themselves from serious injuries. The guys in the locker room don't have any confidence in Mac. There is no rallying around him. Subliminally, they told us everything when he got slammed, pushed and hardly did anyone on offense step in to have his back. He is dunski!
Need a retooling. We have some nice pieces on Defense. Offense needs a rebuild. Drake Mayo reminds me of Sam Donald, I am for JJ-McCarthy or RILEY LEONARD. Mac can't compete with the Josh Allens. If you want to stick with Mac, you will have to use all your money on skill position players and not have enough to build the rest of the team.

Winnable games is a term I wouldn’t associate with this team. The offense is a complete joke, they just lost their two best defenders, there’s no game I would favor them in at this point, not even against the Jets.

We've seen this play before: start slow; then win a few games against back-up or rookie QBs or teams w/ key players injured; then end w/ a losing record in Dec-Jan. Only constants are Mac at QB and BB at HC. It's not working.

I think if the Pats somehow pull it all together - Jack Jones and Jonathan Jones come back and fill in for Gonzalez, and Gonzalez comes back in around a month - Uche steps up to help fill the void of Judon, Flowers comes off PUP and helps out as well - either Mac or Zappe discover how to be an at least average QB - Stevenson rediscovers himself and the OL solidifies in the run game - Juju gets it together and Pop sees the field more - IF the Pats can accomplish all of the above, then I could see them beating the Saints, Raiders, Colts, Giants, Chargers, Steelers, Broncos and Jets. The Commanders, maybe. Bills, Dolphins and Chiefs probably not. In this scenario I'd say a 9-8 finish is possible.

If they only achieve some of the above, probably more like 7-10. If they stay as they are and don't realize much/any improvement, maybe only 4-13.

Agreed! The availability of Jon & Jack are still uncertain.. so I'm expecting the defense to take a step backwards. I don't understand why there isn't seemingly any attempt to get a proven vet at CB.. let me guess greedy Williams wanted 1.5 and BB said no 1.4 and that's that!

Yes!! It's like a curse... Marcus, Jack, Jon, now gonzo.. this is crazy. Can you ever remember a time we were this decimated by injury? Barmore is always hurt so no suprise.. but judon. Now that's tough!

We are done to having to rely on Wade and myles Bryant. At this point either elevate one of the JAGs they signed or gp after a proven veteran... gonzo is lost for the season torn labrum. If we loose come Sunday then I can see guys starting to think about the off season. Playoffs are out the equation right now IMO.

I’ve never seen a team literally playing a game without their top 4 corners, just horrible luck at the position.

I predicted 9-8. After Judon's likely season ender and Gonzalez being out for a while, an underperforming OL and Juju, a bad running game and Jones looking subpar anyway I think that prediction is looking a little optimistic...

Is why I asked the question? Why isn't Douglas playing more. All he does is make plays when given the opportunity. So far juju is apparently hurt he's too good a player to perform the way he is. Parker is washed. KB is the only one who fights. I'm sure he probably wishes he was still in SF right now under Shanahan. Why isn't Boutte involved? All he did was make plays week 1.. is BB still holding him being out of bounds against him. Let's be honest the O line sucks right now. We have no running game whatsoever.. on 3rd and 1 why isn't Montgomery more involved? He's the only change up RB we have on the roster. On Thornton.. the only thing I can hope he provides is someone to carry coverage and stretch the defense. Other than that low expectations IMO.
