Was wondering the same thing? I mean if the tackle slides several yards to the left and the QB slides a yard less to the left is that now not considered still in the pocket.

Now that is an honest question. I could see that going either way.

Back in in 2001/2002 was playing in the SB for my Madden season. Went in undefeated. Up by 4 points or so on the last play of the game. Computer throws the ball my DB is right there I hit the button to pick it off and the ball seemingly went right through the mid section of my DB. Asante style but worse. WR catches the ball runs it in for a SB winning TD.

I watch the replay and it confirms the ball went right through my players body. I was so beyond pissed I chucked the remote across the room at the wall. It shattered into a bunch of pieces flying all over the living room.

Now living in old ass on base housing the wall was made out of cinder blocks. When I calmed down and realized as a 22 year old Husband , father of 2 and a soldier I just let a video game piss me off so bad that I did that **** in front of my 4 year old kid.

Last time I ever played a video game.

You and I are pretty close in age. I’m 40.

I miss playing Madden with my friends in my college years. **** got really personal with us. Eventually we took our talents online pissing people off and getting cursed at.

I loved franchise mode. I built some awesome teams. I figured out the secret sauce to evaluating the best draft picks and land them in their projected round. I would win the Super Bowl every year.
