And they could be looking at both Thornton and JJSS going to IR. As well as Reiff and whomever else.

Did I see the Harris Cut? Nope. But I saw the Zappe one. I didn't think they'd add two OT, but after Reiff was injured, i thought it might be a possibility. Bit I also didn't see Anderson being Activated.

And if Zappe gets snatched off the waiver, then Pats probably are okay with that, and it means Malik will get more opportunity.
As well as a new QB2 on the 53.

OR - they needed the space to carry TT and (maybe Reiff or McD) on the 53, then will short-IR them to bring back Zappe?

You're confusing short-term IR with IR designated to return.

Honestly I could see him sticking because of his dad. Kirk and Bill are pretty close from what I read.

In order to be eligible to return from IR, you must first make the original 53, so look for the veterans (i.e. guys with more than 4 years of service, who don't have to go through waivers) like Munson, Bledsoe who were cut to be brought back after they IR the stick figure (Thorton) and whoever else.

Not really. Those 2 are every down backs. There aren’t snaps for a “change of pace”. We need a guy to sit on the bench and be ready if there is an injury.

There are a couple dozen unemployed RBs that are not materially different from strong or Harris. JAGS.

He got himself in Better shape then he has been in for a few seasons.

Probably not an every down back, but he is an ANY down back, in that you can use him for traditional runs, short yardage, or 3rd down (good pass protector, good enough catching the ball). Stevenson should get the bulk of the snaps anyway.

Then Harris should be easy to get back.
I think Sow or Mafi, Boutte or Douglas, maybe J Andrews would have all been scooped up. Can't afford to lose those guys.
