Patriots signed Monty Rice a LB to the practice squad. I remember him from a big game, I think Georgia against Alabama about 3 years ago. He was all over the field making plays. He was injured, basically playing on one leg. I loved his game. Don't know anything about him since then. He is probably an injury risk and may not be as athletic, but I remember that as a heroic performance. I hope he has something left.

Patriots elevate rookie TE Jack Westover and LB Keshawn Banks to 53-man roster off practice squad. Does that count as a roster transaction? These mid-season adjustments are small swings, but continue to add speed on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
