He will probably trade Mac or any player that voice his frustration and acquire player that will work with Patricia before he even thinks about firing Patricia

"I only want to coach players I like."

Billy should've added: "...and who like to play for the coaches I give 'em."

Belichick said he didn't want to risk a Mac injury. He's got a loser's mentality now. Sounds like an excuse Todd Bowles would utter.

Did he really say that?!? He's a ****ing Loser AND a Liar now.

Wish he had felt that way before starting Corky vs da Bears...

If Kraft does this, he ends up with someone worse than Pete Carroll, while Belichick goes elsewhere and wins a Super Bowl. Belichick would be unemployed for maybe a few hours.

Little Billy - nor ANY of his children - will Never, EVER win another SB again.

I thought it was the same thing given how he slid backward and went down, but it wasn't:

He just slammed into Lawson's shoulder and, well, lost.

I was expecting a fumble too, because that's Exactly what I remembered when I saw this live...

Kevin ****ing Harris ****ing Sucks too, just like his ****ing undependable, Charmin-soft ****ing namesake too.

Could've had Jamaree Salyer among others with that pick.

He was a sixth-round pick. And the kid was solid in the preseason, save for the fumble, and he was a beast in college. But they only gave him one snap, which means that obviously he screwed up on that play. Hopefully he develops, because they're in tough shape because so far, they don't seem to have anyone behind Stevenson heading into next year.

Matt gets a pass, kid really did a great job on the draft this year. Have to give him credit.
The draft this year was good. I think Groh is solid. Not really worried about the drafting.

One thing I think is interesting - with Bill having to pivot to being so involved in the offense, and all the pieces they lost on defense (mainly in the backfield) this offseason, I expected the defense to decline. Instead, they definitely seem improved over last year. What does this mean in regards to defensive coaching? Naturally you’d expect Bill had to give more control to Mayo and/or Steve and this is the result - so are these guys actually legit?

On offense, it really feels like if they just had a competent OC, OL coach, and a slight talent improvement on the OL they’d actually be a really solid team.

just watched replay. A key difference: Mac slides a yard short of the first down to protect himself. Josh literally jumps and tries to crash through a big pack of players for no apparent reason -- just because that's how he plays. If I'm a player, that's the guy I want to go to battle with.

Yep... Deep down, Corky's a ****ing Puzzie.

I hear you, but there's a little bit of a contrast there.

Josh Allen - 6'5", 237-pounds
Mac Jones - 6'3", 214-pounds

Josh Allen > Mac Jones

Allen's much bigger and much stronger. Big difference between those two body-wise.

Another contrast is that Josh Allen isn't a punk-ass little b!tch.

Can't help but feel bad for the players more than anything. They're way better than this and the coaching staff is wasting valuable playing years off their career
This

I don't think Mac is great but this season is going to kill his future earnings

Same with Bourne, Meyers, etc.

No he didn't, so No I won't.

His first two picks were taken WAY THE **** too soon... I'm talking MULTIPLE-****ING-ROUND too soon.

And his last FOUR picks ALL ****ING SUCK... As does Pierre Strong, especially where he was taken.

Exactly . Sum of parts made bill look better than what we thought . McDaniels + scar + Flores + Ernie .

Now with all of them gone and with sycophants ruling the roost , the results are pretty glaring.

Bill might be wise to call it a day else he might get exposed more .

Exposed as what?

He took over a dismal 3-13 Cleveland Browns team and then progressively built that franchise up to 6-10, 7-9, 7-9, then 11-5 and a playoff win over New England. Classic team building process. Then they decided to move to Baltimore and BB was stuck in the middle of a team catastrophe, and they went 5-11.

He came to New England and took over a team that had been in decline since 1996. Completely retooling the organization, they went 5-11 in his first year, and then drafted Brady. Then he won a bajillion games and won six Super Bowls.

Then the post-Brady rebuild came, and they went 7-9 and then 10-7 in the first two seasons of the rebuild. This year has been disappointing, but they're on a normal rebuild trajectory as a franchise.

He's done two rebuilds, and both were highly successful. Obviously the NE rebuild was aided by drafting and developing the greatest player in NFL history, but people make it seem like that's a strike AGAINST Belichick. It's actually a point in his favor. There aren't many coaches who would have made the switch from Bledsoe to Brady once Drew was healthy again, but BB did, and the rest is history.

Now he's on his third rebuild. He needs a chance to make it work.

The man knows what the hell he's doing. He's been phenomenal at this for a long, long time.

Rebuilds take time everyone.

@Ross12 - Here's that scramble play
Right after he set his feet, he had someone open in the back of the end zone. He’d had to lead him a bit inside, but that was a missed touchdown. I wonder if he just doesn’t trust his arm strength to get the ball there before the DB covering the flat made a break on it.

I don't know. If you're talking about Agholor, I saw the same thing but Stevenson ended up down there as Agholor broke to the right and brought his guy with him (if you watch it back - they cross) which saw that window close pretty quickly. Just a mess of a play.
