that was brady every game for 20 years

It seems the same people who dismissed the “body language” talk with Brady are very vocal about it with Mac Jones. Unless there is proof or at least strong evidence it is affecting his game, I really don’t care about Jones’ body language.

that was brady every game for 20 years

I don’t think Brady yelled at his coaches other than maybe 1-2 times…he yelled at his teammates. I don’t think Bill is the kind of guy who tolerates what he perceives as disrespect. That’s just my opinion though.

The buck stops with BB. BB said to blame him if Patricia fails, well, Patricia has failed. BB has a DC as an OC. A Special Teams coordinator as a QB coach and you wonder why Mac is regressing. Patricia is also the oline coach; we all know how the offensive line plays. I am at the point where I am ready for Kraft to fire the whole coaching staff and start new. Offensive players have been complaining about the offensive scheme and play calling. You have our starting QB yelling at Patricia for his quick-game offense that doesn't work. Time for a change. Keep mac, he is young and his career can still be salvaged with a proper OC and QB coach.

hey, I just thought of a silver lining!!!!

I bet teams won't be poaching any of our coaching staff in the offseason

So we have that going for us

If Bourne is saying the offense doesn't know the defensive tendencies that is bad and totally on coaching. It's pretty clear from watching they don't.

I mean how many times does Patricia have routes being run right next to each other. Or on 3rd and long had no one running past the sticks.

U cannot believe so many people are blaming Mac for this offensive offense. This is all play design, preparation, and situational football. This falls squarely on the coaching staff. Mac was fine in this game.

The coaching staff gets a F, and that goes for Belichick too. After watching this game, I really am starting to feel like starting with a whole new group could be the answer. I always thought Belichick would get at least another year, but I am unsure if that is the answer.

This team has been poorly coached since Brady left and I don't know if that will change until a new group comes in.

At the very least, Bill needs yo get himself real coaches

Wonder if there has just been too much attrition from his coaching tree ranks over the years, where he's desperate to hire former staffers and place them into roles they arent qualified for just to try and maintain some semblance of consistency, but its been a total **** show

seems every year we lose 1-2 coaches, and when McD left he took 3-4

The Bills toyed with us all game.
Third down was little to no issue for them.
One positive I take from this game was finally getting Thornton and Marcus Jones involved on offense.
I think Thornton is your future 1 and Marcus can be deadly in the slot if properly taught the position.

We need to say bye to Nelson to Devante and to Meyers next season.

Complete rebuild at O line, D line inside linebacker. Receiver.
Give Henry and Jonnu those walking papers.
New punter new kicker wow the list is growing and we still don’t know what the heck we have at QB.

But I feel this could be BBS last season and I see him going to a team like the Panthers and turning that organization around.
But we need new fresh ideas.

Groh and Wolf are the only ones who can stay on the entire staff in my humble opinion and the scouts they trust.
I want Troy Brown and Jerod Mayo to be involved in some form.
Time to start looking at offensive genius coaches in the NFL and college and see who would be available for the tall task of the Post Brady BB Era no pressure.

That's been my fear all along and why my leash for Patricia has been longer. Short of a complete turn around in the next few weeks I'm not sure there's much choice.
Bringing in BOB would not be too much of a change for the offense and Mac. He has an understanding of the EP offense that the Pats ran previously and the Alabama connection with Mac. The simplest solution is almost always the best.

Bourne really needs to shutup. he maybe right in some sense but he has no right to put it on the line and call plays like an OC and say
"not call it on the line". Its not like he hasn't fumbled this season. He has no clue into offensive playcalling as crappy as it is for us right now. This kind of talk really doesn't help anyone.
He played under Shannahan's offense. I think he has a clue. Night and day. Needs to be said.

Whatever your view of Mac, his performances simply cannot be analysed amongst the festering skip fire that is the O-line and play-calling.

Feels like 2006 again.

Something has to change.

I think firing Belichick isn't off the table if he loses the team and last night was the beginning of a major crap show for the rest of the season, but it would have to be extreme for Kraft to fire Belichick.

As for Jones' development, I have said the Pats have done to Jones what perennial top 10 pick teams do with the QBs they draft. They are ruining Jones. Maybe permanently. I don't know if he is the future, but he isn't being given a shot to become and develop into a good or great starting QB.

The Patriots have one of the smallest coaching staffs in the league if not the smallest. I think that is showing with all the stupid mistake and penalties. I think coaches are spread so thin with many of them having very little experience at the job they are doing. It is the small details that Belichick used to excel at that suffers.

We talk about them ruining Jones, but they may be ruining other young guys like Strange and Thornton. Both these guys look to need some hand holding and I am wondering if they are getting it. When does Patricia have time to give Strange extra work when he is developing and implementing a game plan all week? Thornton has Branch, but Branch is also probably spread thin picking up the slack for other coaches.

THe media also has failed to do its job and hold Bill more accountable. Every press conference I've seen the reporters are asking dumb questions and not trying to piss him off. Mike Reiss is a nice guy, but reporters like him don't want to put the screws to BB because of the past 20 years of success.
The best person I've ever seen to interview BB was Borges, Ron Borges was that old school realistic, type of journalist. Due to us winning so much bb has always gotten a pass.. however in Cleveland he didn't get that same pass..

Last night was strictly on play design and play calling .. this offense is far more capable than 5 yard passes.. the Bills defense isn't the 2000s ravens.. idk.. then this secondary seems to have no answer for 1 guy.. now u see another baller in Hopkins.. these next 5 games if it continues you will see more divide in the team..

Oh 2006 they were a 12-4 dominate defense, over achievement on offense, aging Troy brown, Gaffney, Caldwell on the outside.. Doug Gabriel..

Kraft is a respected, proud owner he will definitely make changes

Obviously I think belichick is still a good coach but clearly Brady masked a ton of issues this team had because he was so great.

Even with Jones just being an average quarterback this is not all on him. The offense and defense need major overhauls which could take years.

I am ok with playing for the FG. The score remained 17-7 into the start of the 4th. 17-10 would have been a good result from that drive. And it's not like red zone and scoring has been our strength.

The handling of the clock was brutal and to not have a play ready for after the QB keeper was a joke. With hindsight they probably should have just run a draw on first down after the sneak to get closer spiked it and made the FG easier.

Keeper was the right call tho it was open and you get the first down and move the chains but calling 2 timeouts to do it is highly questionable.
But they clearly weren’t playing for the field goal. They went right back to passing after they got the first down and they wouldn’t have wasted the second time out if all they were doing is gettting the best field position to kick a field goal and not give the Bills back the ball.
