Even though Minnesota's D is pedestrian, this was Mac's best game as a pro going on the road against a "good" team later in the year with a winning record and kept up until the end - something that has been a question with Mac since last year. While Parker, Agholor and Meyers had some nice catches, Mac needs a consistent go to guy he can rely on to make plays like Justin Jefferson.
Speaking of Jefferson, how does nobody notice he looks like Antonio Cromartie?
OL had a good game giving Mac nice wide pockets to throw. Run blocking wasn't too great though.
How does nobody notice Cole Strange looks like Nate Solder?
Jon Jones got torched last night. Guys get torched, it happens. Even when the Pats had a "shutdown" CB, they got torched on occasion.
Judon and Wise looked like they had a lot of attention on them last night. Uche had a nice sack late in the game.
Meyers drop late in the game was brutal. You have to make that catch.
Agholor not timing the throw late in the game was tough.
The Hunter Henry TD getting overturned was bad.
Myles Bryant penalty was ticky tack as it's common to see players hit guys on the ground that have given themselves up on the play. NFL needs to be more consistent. With that said, it's a mystery why he keep trotting out on the field.
I'm in the minority and think the Pierre Strong penalty shouldn't have been called. He was going sideways trying to avoid the Punter, but Punters will try to contact players with their long follow throughs to get contact. Strong barely touching him had no bearing on the kick. The Punter tried to do it again later in the game. This type of penalty needs to be eliminated by the NFL.
The Pats face their real nemesis next week which is what we've all been waiting for. I want to see Mac carry over what he did last night against the Bills.
