JETS SUCK 2022 EDITION (OFFICIAL): A SALACIOUS SAGA OF SLEAZY SHENANIGANS

Just watching the WFAN video, Benigno is right about the NFL's best defense being on the field Sunday, but it's not the Jets. They are top 5 though.

If I were the Jets, I’d cut Zach Wilson. Or be smarter and trade him for a low draft pick.

What if they offered a first for our backup QB?

They should start Mike White, their backup.

They should've started Jump Ball Joe Flaccid against us if he's not injured; but they didn't even dress him, so who knows what's going on there...

Mike White is listed on their depth chart as the immediate backup to Wilson, if anyone has upside moving forward it’s White not Flacco… his best days are behind him.

White doesn't really have any upside at this point either... Flaccid still probably gives them the best chance of winning.

Watched that game in the lobby of the downtown Philadelphia Marriott, near the Reading Terminal Marketplace, with a bunch of mostly Sewer Yorkers... Their silence was deafening, except for me... Any non-Sewer Yorkers there were just laughing... Good times, good times...

Yeah… like Geno Smith was a 1st round bust.

QB’s who have talent can manifest immediately, or a decade later like Steve Young or Geno.

White has the only been in the league a handful of years, he took the long road to get here. There’s no telling what he’ll become, he was an accurate passer in college.

We were told wholesale in places like this that the Jests struck gold when they drafted Zach Wilson. What happened?

Don't want to disrupt whatever point you were making, but he was a 2nd rounder, #39 ( Geno Smith - Wikipedia). I recall most draft analysts saying they were taking a flyer on a running QB from a 2nd tier school, whereas most Jete fans convinced themselves that their brilliant brain trust had delivered the next Joe Willy Namath and they'd be winning championships in no time flat.

Pretty much a textbook example of how to ruin a rookie QB who is already prone to arrogance. Bring him in, tell him the job is all his, don't make him earn the job, or even demonstrate that he can operate the offense at all or perform at any sort of level of competence. In other words, SOFJ.

They should bench him to adjust his attitude which is more even more concerning than his on field performance. He will never get better or earn the respect of his team if he does not get his head on straight first.

With all due respect, is it even possible that the arrogant pr!ck would take a deep dose of humility to try to save his career?
Why bother? He's got family money, a guaranteed contract and a fawning mommy who supplies him with sex partners.
Far easier for him to keep that arrogant smile on his face as he talks his way into the next horny old lady's pants.
He knows he'll land himself some snazzy well paying job once he returns to his ancestral, incestual home region.

The Jets invested a lot in him and should at least try to get some value from him. Personally I agree that he will never be a good QB, even more reason to bench him now. If the team has reached the same conclusion as us they should trade him in the off season instead of trying to make it work on the Jets.

Your post made me google NFL players who came from money. Ignoring football family money like the Manning's, Nick Foles and Christian McCaffrey are noteworthy. Now we know why Amendola's ex is interested.

similar comparison to Wilson with exceptional arm talent and attitude were Geoff George and Jay Cutler.
Honestly it would be a major overachievement if Zach Wilson ever plays to the highest level of George or Cutler. George led the NFL in passing one season and had 29 TDs to 9 INTs. Wilson would probably have 40 INTs if he ever gets anywhere near 29 TDs in a season. George has pretty decent postseason numbers too (9 TDs in 3 games). Jay Cutler probably wasn't as bad as most people think either. Top 50 all-time passer rating... Cutler is Eli Manning minus the Super Bowl rings. George and Cutler each played 12 NFL seasons... it's seriously questionable if Wilson has 12 more starts in his career.

I called this friggin' mutt a bust the DAY the Jete drafted him. Pretty good guess, eh Jete Moron Fan? No fanbase in sports history is as blind, stupid and arrogant as the Green Stool Eaters.

The busts don't simply get picked by the Jete. The Jete can take a perfectly capable QB and destroy them - set their careers back years with bad habits, Front Office instability and lack of general accountability.

The Jete don't pick a bust, they mold it. Some years they take tried and true Ryan Leaf retreads (who prefers 'higher mileage' models, allegedly), other years they throw a Geno Smith (looks serviceable in SEA) into the dysfunction to get his jaw broken by some practice team line backer.

Every bust has it's own mix of tragedy and comedy. This iteration seems to be one for the ages, with off the field circus potential not seen since Mark Sanchez was coming down with Mono and getting photo'd dancing naked at an Irsay party.

Rumor has it Wrecks Ryan was too busy handling snack orders to handle reigning his young QB in. Each bust is like a snowflake, a disaster in it's own unique way.

Good post. One minor correction, though: Damn Darnit was the one who contracted mono (so much to keep track of with so many it's easy to get them confused).
