So, Pro Bowls are the target?
How about WINS, do THOSE matter?
Check your dumbass glasses in, you need a new prescription.

You’re almost dead to me, Wynn.

Don’t you know that we have a group of truly elite draft prognosticators amongst us? They are always right, as long as they have 1 to 2 years of evidence before giving their delayed pre-draft analyses. There is always hell to pay if Bill and Co. don’t choose the players in real-time that those posters choose with the help of their retrospectoscopes.

In hindsight, Chubb should’ve been the choice (duh) but on draft night the Michel pick was widely praised. I distinctly remember reading many tweets from across the country, written by hard-core college football fans, lamenting the fact that Michel was going to ball out for the Patriots and that he was perfect for their system.
I would sincerely be fine with drafting by Patfans.com draftniks' majority opinion outside quarterbacks and o-line (and maybe split DB picks). We might miss out on some of those sleeper hits BB lands periodically, but I'm pretty sure the Pats would have at least two elite WRs on rookie contracts right now, and a solid team everywhere else.

BB can also continue to manage UDFAs and trade targets.

The only trouble with Wynn is with false start penalties and letting his QB get killed.

Lose/Lose has become the NFL equivalent of Other than that, Mrs Lincoln...

Trouble with Wynn? The trouble is that he starts every game, which i don't understand

Ironically, Mac is coming in to play on Monday, and the fact is, Wynn is better than Cannon! Watch out Mac!
Wynn is better than Cannon on the left side. Any decent backup on the right side would have negated the need for bringing Cannon back. I'd like to see Wynn playing the extra lineman position for a bit.

It wasn't hindsight. It was day one. And this site really needs to stop with the "only in hindsight" nonsense, because it's almost never true.
I never see anybody complain about how their brilliant plan to package up the whole 2017 draft to get John Ross woulda coulda shoulda saved the franchise. There's a built-in mechanism for claiming woulda coulda shoulda props, selective memory. I refuse to believe that nobody here has ever screamed to the heavens that we absolutely NEEDED to draft a bust that another team drafted. Of course they do, all the time.

We have a draft forum where people talk about it before the draft even happens. We have a draft thread where people talk about it on draft day. We have post-draft threads where people talk about it right after the draft. And we have thread after thread where people talk about it all during the offseasons, before any games are played.

he's a shut-in overdosing on psyche meds...consider him harmless

This one is sort of an interesting situation since he didn't ask to be moved to right tackle and has obviously been playing poorly. At the same time, he was outplayed by Brown at left tackle ... so there's still some responsibility there on his part. That and all the penalties certainly aren't helping whatever argument he's trying to make.
Agree on the penalties but Brown's #s aren't much different than Wynn's

I agree. They probably think Cajuste is at least as good, and probably even Gutierrez on the practice squad. Trading him also gives them a ton of cap space.
Who is Gutierrez? Is that "no anchovies on my pizza" guy?

But BB's drafting over the past decade outside of 2021 has been lackluster at best. His only pro bowl selection was Dont'a Hightower in 2012?
Jamie Collins was a Pro Bowler and All Pro in 2015.

I meant he was outplayed there during the preseason and minicamp, which is how he ended up on that side to start with.

Wynn is the reason our third string QB is playing right now.
We can add a tackle to back up Cannon if it means Wynn isn't going to be on the roster putting down the red carpet for free shots at the QB.

We're lucky Zappe wasn't killed in the Greenbay game.
The DT that caused Mac's injury blew past Andrews not Wynn. On the Hoyer sack, Rham could've helped out and chipped the DE but decided to run right past him. I've seen Rham do this several times.

Brown isn‘t playing on a high Level either, on a lot of outside zone stuff you see he is too slow to get out
Strange seems like a Teams good fit for our LG spot and he is playing solid

Yea, both Brown and Wynn's play have gone down from last year. Still not sure why they were switched. They should've switched them back when they realized it. Getting rid of Wynn isn't the answer. What happens if Brown gets injured? The OL depth has been an issue since camp and they did nothing but bring in Pizza boy for a weekend and our old friend Cannon. Not sure he's the answer.
