I listen to literally every show because it’s fun background entertainment and Jimmy is actually usually right with his scoops but that won’t make homers feel good so listen to the people who don’t actually listen to the show about him if you want.
Doesn't change the fact he got the basic info wrong about which option allows you to heal quicker

Except that he doesn’t talk about option anywhere in his tweet nor does he talk about surgery. It’s just something you imagine. The only thing he said in his tweet is that the Patriots wants him to play quicker that what Mac is comfortable with. that’s all.

Edit: it could simply be that the patriots wants Mac to have the surgery and he doesn’t and he is searching for a 2nd opinion to avoid it.

Honestly?

Dont shoot the messenger

but it MIGHT be a blessing in disguise

Agreed.

Watching Mac, and all the receiver's, adjust to the new offensive approach is a bit painful. Maybe Hoyer can settle down the offense for a few weeks and then we can add Mac back in.

What is surprising is 70%+ of the Patsfans board voted for Zappe. I assumed posters want to win. Guess not. My error.

Given the fact that Hoyer is 0-11 in his last 11 starts, voting for him is not going for the win.

The people who voted for Zappe, voted for upside and potential. People have already seen what Hoyer is and it’s not good. Majority of people prefers the idea that maybe the kid might do something than settle for assured mediocrity

Apparently, The Ravens are saying Mac is a racist....

Wait a second - so your team just blew up his leg with a dirty hit and now afterwards you’re going to imply he’s somehow a racist without actually saying it?

SHOCKER - The Ravens are weasels and dirtbags. I guess **** runs downhill.

You could see him go over to say something that got a reaction. He can definitely be a bit chippy at times. I didn't like the exaggeration of the out of bounds push in the first half. Not really necessary.

These are all things we watched Tom Brady do as the NEP QB for years and years. He talked a lot of trash, and yes, he flopped at times. Not that I want to start another conversation about Tom, but I'm just saying. Doesn't make sense to celebrate Tom for doing things and then denigrate Mac for doing those same things.

I think this will force BB and Co to bring back last year's offense a bit more too, so hopefully more Bourne, Henry in the mix, less RPO's (dont know if they are related directly, dont think they are)

And then with Hoyer's noddle arm, there is no pressure for TT to come back.

Finally, and I hate to be the one saying first, but it's how i feel, if it is indeed 6-8 weeks injury, It puts the "Play-off hope" thing into stasis and realistically we would only go in if Mac comes back in all cillynders (Very good scenario) or the team rises up to the occasion (another very good scenario). So really, I think this kinda takes off some expectations from the team the year, i guess, at least to me.

Im at peace with Mac's injury, it is what is

Except TT can turn a 5 yard pass to 15 or 20 yds easy.

It's funny that we read it this same way and understand it but somehow aren't agreeing on the words caution or comfort.

I understood this James guy to imply the Patriots want him to come back quicker (and perhaps be debilitated, which is what happens to players who are not fully healed from a high ankle sprain (Gronk came back in 2 weeks), while Mac wants to avoid long-term issues by having the surgery

Mac is a big trash talker…we saw that even in the pro bowl. He probably said something like “watch me light you up.” Then of course some Ravens fan nitwit on Twitter accuses him of racism…

while Mac wants to avoid long-term issues by having the surgery
That’s absolutely not what the tweet says.

From i get from the tweet is that the patriots want Mac to have the surgery and comeback in 4 weeks but Mac for whatever reason is not 100% on board and want a second opinion and is fine waiting 6-8 weeks with the normal healing process.

We have not had any confirmation that Mac need surgery so maybe Max doesn’t to do a surgery that is not required.
