Didn't they do this for the Denver / Mexico City combo a few years ago? Got to Denver early, then flew to Mexico City... stayed in the thin air. IIRC that worked pretty well.
Pretty sure they have done something like this several times... Including early trips to Miami

Or Wynn might not like public speaking, lots of people don't like it, and he is forced to do it. So he looks and sounds unhappy, which he is, but not with the Pats or his $10M salary or his future prospects, but simply unhappy about being forced to stand in front of people. Players are all different. Marshawn Lynch didn't like going to the podium either. It happens. Maybe there is nothing to see here.
I guess, but he didn't seem to have any issues in previous ones. You're right, maybe there's nothing to see there, but his responses when asked about the switch - and his mannerisms - would lead the average person to think he might not have been thrilled about it. As I mentioned, that was my impression when I watched it, but my opinion is also meaningless, so there's also that.

I don't ever remember them going there on a Wednesday ahead of a Sunday game. Really hoping this move potentially helps them. Belichick likely knows it's going probably going to be a tough year - especially within the division - so getting this one is definitely important.

thought i remembered them going down early... will have to see if i can find anything... and that would be a no... theyve stayed out west for two weeks, and as montioned, practiced in denver for the mexico city game...

hope it helps

I was wrong, they're apparently heading down Tuesday, which is obviously even earlier. But I think they did go down on a Thursday ahead of one meeting in recent years if I recall. Like you said, I'll have to do some more digging there.

Yeah, the article I posted said they're heading down Tuesday... I don't like this schedule... Open and close the season on the road vs division rivals...

Eh sh** and I spelled it Jacobi.

I'm sorry I am putting myself on the mentally unable to post (MUP) list.
So you're sorry that you're putting yourself on the list or you're sorry you spelled Jakobi wrong?

It’s tough. The NFL gods dealt them a rough hand. But some of those teams might not be as good as expected.
