I very clearly do, and you very clearly dont. You clearly have no concept of how this works.

Yes they did and they offered to match.I cant stress this enough, no they didnt
No one would take an 80% pay reduction? Yet you expected Brady to, on a year to year basis at the end of his career? Good for you, big brainBrady took under market deals for selfish reasons, namely, so that BIll can go out and put pieces around him to help him win titles. Brady is nothing but a ring chaser (all the FAs he's bringing to Tampa is more proof of this). There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but to say that Brady was this generous and altruistic guy is nonsense. No one in the real world would take an 80% pay reduction, but Brady clearly benefited from the lower contract.
Probably.Did Belichick engage in ongoing conversations with the Pats over the course of multiple months, all the while still coaching the Jets through an entire season?
Provide proof...Insert Jeff Howe report thatll get ripped to shredsYes they did and they offered to match.
Brady signed for 2 years and 50 mill. You dont spend money in cap space, you spend it in guaratneed dollars. Here is bradys cap number for 2021 $10,545,588. Again, you are saying this is preventing the team from building? HAHAHAHAHA
You can read, go find it yourself, I’m not doing the work for you to fix your poor understanding.Provide proof...Insert Jeff Howe report thatll get ripped to shreds

Hes still playing in 2022. Hes still around.Brady signed for 2 years and 50 mill.
The 2020 cap hit was 25 mill. The 2021 was 10 after they kicked the test down the road until he was 46.
Are you suggesting a rebuilding team should throw cap money into years a player will no longer be around?
This isnt how arguments work, you stated they offered him the same exact deal...Go find me evidence. I ask because I know you cant, which is why youre deflectingYou can read, go find it yourself, I’m not doing the work for you to fix your poor understanding.

You just tried to tell me that the guaranteed value of contracts is the basis for what you can afford under the cap.I very clearly do, and you very clearly dont.
LMAO, what a sad postBecause if you read what I wrote, it's different for Brady since he's ring chasing...last time I checked anyone in the real world doesn't benefit from taking an 80% pay cut, which by the way is not how much Brady was underpaid. Brady did benefit from it obviously with additional pieces to help him win.
You clearly don't understand how the cap works with void years. You don’t read very well I see.
I never said they couldn’t afford to keep Brady I said they couldn’t afford to keep Brady and improve the team. Using the Brady some of money to retain SOME of your own free agents while losing others, and having no money left to IMPROVE the team is different than having money to keep Brady AND improve the team.
The Free Agents signed in 2021 were 75% paid for by the money not paid to Brady in 2020 and 2021.
Again, you can’t have both.
I said they signed him for 2/50 in 2020 and his cap hit in 2021 was just over 10 mil. You said it was 25. I never said they didnt extend him to do so. Which again, very easily couldve happened here. You just tried to tell me that the guaranteed value of contracts is the basis for what you can afford under the cap.
You misunderstand cap charge and cash spent.
You are all over the page misusing and misunderstanding the concepts.
Yes it’s exactly how it works. This isnt how arguments work, you stated they offered him the same exact deal...Go find me evidence. I ask because I know you cant, which is why youre deflecting
You stated a "fact" which you cant back up. Again, deflect deflect deflect. Come back to me when you want to continue with actual evidence to support your opinionsYes it’s exactly how it works.
I stayed a fact, you deflected with “go look up an article” which you can very well do yourself.
Or don’t. I don’t really care if you want to stay wrong or pretend things are different than they are.
If the patriots signed him for 2/50 they would have been charged 50 mill in 2 years. They would not push money out to hit them when he retires. It’s not how they operate, and it would be foolish to rebuild that way.I said they signed him for 2/50 in 2020 and his cap hit in 2021 was just over 10 mil. You said it was 25. Facts are facts. Accept them or don’t.You stated a "fact" which you cant back up. Again, deflect deflect deflect. Come back to me when you want to continue with actual evidence to support your opinions
Hes not retired. If the patriots signed him for 2/50 they would have been charged 50 mill in 2 years. They would not push money out to hit them when he retires. It’s not how they operate, and it would be foolish to rebuild that way.
