NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG: Bengals at Chiefs

Was he touched when he went down!?
NO he wasn't. I was rooting for Cinci, but that should have been called a fumble. Mixon flipped it to celebrate but he was NOT touched down.

The Kelce face officially replaced the Manning face

Yep. It was all ponies and rainbows while Wilson was cheap. Now Wilson is expensive and he's complaining about not having a good OL and they're making the playoffs, and he wants to force a trade. At least they got a dynasty out of him! Oh wait.

There goes my remote.

Now I know just how hard getting to a SB is.

I was dead wrong on this game.

I was wrong on Mahomes today.

This isn't losing to a Belichick/Brady combo. This is losing to an average team that lost 7 games!!!

This was a first class choke.
You are solid for coming back here.

Mahomes Played his first crap playoff game.

I'll say it.

But it happens to everyone.

You can’t restructure forever. They have to at least eat 20M next year, and probably will eat the 35
No but they can for a franchise QB in their early 30s

This post is so ****ing out of line.

The word is ”break” not “brake”

The rest of the post: yes, exactly.
Ha. Sorry, saw that after I reread it. Duh. I was very emotional when I wrote it!

people forgot this i think after watching brady and bb. Kc is a damn good team but it’s incredibly hard to win multiple titles. Now wait till mahomes contract escalates and they stop having incredible luck with zero injuries to the big 3

Many things have to go right, including luck. Talent alone rarely wins it all. This is why organizations that put themselves in the tournament year after year are going to be the ones who get Lombardi’s, and chasing them is stupid. And you are absolutely right pointing to the rising salaries, cap restraints, poaching of coaches and front office personnel, and many other factors play into the difficulty of maintaining a high level performance year after year. And none of that takes into account the growth of other great teams and players you have to get past to win it all. Chefs fans thought Nahomes passing Brady wouldn’t be that hard, and they were doing the LeVron’ a couple of years ago, NOT 1, NOT 2……………NOT 5, Not 6………….

Now they should start to understand that it’s not that simple, and if you want a shot at 6 you better be great for 20.

No but they can for a franchise QB in their early 30s
They probably will restructure him next year because even though they're $15M under the cap right now, they only have 39 players signed, so in reality it's more like $2M once their roster is filled with guys making at least minimum salaries. They'll need money back just to sign anyone, and then that will make the pain even more severe later. Not to mention, Tyreek Hill is a free agent in 2023.

Honestly that Chiefs Planet is a ceast pool.

Ok let's not be prisioners of the moment here. Let's not go overboard.

There's a god damn thread up asking if Burrow is better than Mahomes.
