Eliot Wolf a Finalist for Bears GM Position

Wolf staying is a huge offseason win for us.

we should have a good draft this year!

but to make sure we have a good draft, someone needs to book bb and mcdaniels on a cruise to the Caribbean the week of the draft.

Mcdaniels will be hitting the slots in Vegas with his roommate Zirk Ziegler.
BB and Wolf baby.
This has to mean a promotion for the Wolf.

very sweet!

better drafting is the only way back to championship level play!

we need wolf to do his magic again this year.

Considering Ziegler was in charge of last years draft, if you liked that one, he is the guy you want to stay

Wolf made the picks?

Ziegler didn’t stick around long in his new role. Maybe Kraft didn’t back up the brinks for him. It could be The Wolf is the one they want in that role now. We shall see.

wolf did most of the heavy lifting, with help from groh!

zeigler was clueless for the most part and only started shot calling on day 3, the worst day of the draft.
I'm on team Wolf but really...how do you know this? I "think" he was a lot more involved then people think but your siting specifics that nobody here would know. Of course if your joking around...then I need another cup of java.

I’ve read he was involved in the Barmore trade up but other than that there is no way to know how deep his involvement is? How much credit you can give a front office for a no brainer move up for what 90+ percent of draft niks considered an almost certain first round talent is up for debate.

However, I like having young blood with a fresh outlook and newer analytics at the helm. Not to mention I think his dad was one of the greatest GM’s ever.

Just not true.

His involvement was manning the phones, not making the deal.

I can make things up too……

Bill has always had final say here, so it's not ever going to be easy to definitively determine who's been better or worse than others...

But I would still rather take my chances with Wolf/Groh than with Little Nicky/Zirk Ziegler.

Bb/zeigler/McDaniel/caserio draft 2015 to 2020 drafts = horrible results.

bb/zeigler/mcdaniels/wolf/groh 2021 draft = gold mine!

doesn’t take a rocket scientist to do this math,
