Chicago Bears Request to Interview Eliot Wolf for GM Position

We've beaten multiple horses to death at this point, but I think my first post on the topic of Wolf from a year ago is still as relevant as ever:

Does somebody always deserve credit when a draft pick is successful, or blame when it isn't? I don't think we can just ignore the massive amount of luck and randomness that goes into this. For example, Belichick admitted that they saw Onwenu as a backup guard, and that it was basically luck that they got a high quality tackle. A few years ago, the Cardinals were on the phone to pick Ameer Abdullah at 55, but had to settle for David Johnson at 86 because Abdullah was taken at 54. The Ravens risked losing Lamar Jackson because they absolutely needed to pick Hayden Hurst first.

That makes things complicated enough. So after all that is done, I'm not sure how you then divvy up the appropriate amount of credit to individual members of the scouting staff.
Josh can show you a photograph that wolf was one of the people in the room when the pick was made. Therefore that is proof he and only he made it and he overruled everyone else.

He can also tell you that once McDaniel was a coaching assistant and studied dbs, so every bad db pick since is his fault.

It’s fun for him to make up a conclusion the lie about the facts behind it to support what you made up.

If they believe he's a huge asset then just give him the title here. It's not like BB wouldn't have the last word anyway. Draft have to keep being above par for a few years.
If they believed he was a gm, he would be in charge of player personnel already.
People who liked the last draft are asking to fire the guy responsible for it (along with belichick) to promote Wolf. That makes no sense, unless those people have no idea what they are talking about.

Ziegler is

Ziegler has hung around because he's roommates with Caserio and McD, a trio of idiots from John Carroll. He's in over his head compared to Wolf's experience. It's not even close.

But it would be par for the course for the Pats to let Wolf go and then hold onto Ziegler. This is the same crappy staff that keeps pushing Nkeal Harry / Wynn over much better WRs and also much better Olinemen.

Ziegler's claim to fame is just being college roommates and football teammates with Josh McIdiot. And was part of the crappy 2013-2019 disastrous periods. The only good time the Pats drafted well since Floyd Reese, 2021, was with Eliot Wolf.

But yes let's go with the dumbest poster on the forum and keep supporting people who thought Sanu was a good trade (2nd round pick burned), NKeal Harry, Wynn, Michel, a disastrous list from 2013-2019.

Yes the patriots organization has just been 20 years of mistakes, idiots making decisions and failure.

Nah don't lie and try to encapsulate 20 yrs.

BB has the best GM record of anyone the last 2 decades. But it's split by periods and who he worked with. BB was awesome as a GM from 2001-2004 and 2009-2012. With McIdiot and his roommates the Pats SUCKED in drafting from 2005-2008 and 2013-2019. Happy to go into deep detail into each of these sh-tty drafts.

BB also saves himself due to so many awesome UDFA that he turns into stars, or low draft picks that he turns into stars.

Ziegler became director of personnel before the draft you want to give an underling credit for.
Of course you want to blame him for drafts when he was director of PRO personnel.
You literally have no idea what you are talking about.

Your obsession with John Carroll university is bizarre. I’m thinking a bully named John Carroll used to steal your lunch money and emasculate you.

Ziegler has always just 'been here'. He's just a guy. It was hilarious seeing the war room and you can clearly see BB walk right past crappy Ziegler and directly ask Eliot Wolf and Groh if they're good with the draft pick. This is directly from Bob Kraft who cited how crappy the Patriot drafts were with Ziegler, Caserio, and McIdiot

The team has won consistently all along. It is the model franchise of the NFL.
You have a bizarre hatred of many of the people responsibility for that success, so you make things up to blame them.
You don’t know any details, you make things up.
The teams built during 05-08 and 13-19 had more success than virtually any teams build by anyone ever has.

He is DIRECTOR OF PERSONELL.
You have absolutely zero knowledge of his role, and what he has done here. You are making up every word here.

You are blaming the offensive coordinator and the pro scout/ pro personnel director for draft choices.
You might as well post about knitting a scarf. You can’t know less about that and you wouldn’t have any bizarre hatred causing you to lie.

Wait, how can he “just be here”, “ just be a guy” but be blamed for draft picks? How did just a guy get promoted instead of your pal Wolf?

3 posts in 4 mins. It's ok buddy. Take a deep breath. Not everyone is laughing at you just yet

No but they notice that when facts come to the discussion you have nothing but stupid irrelevant responses like this because you have no legitimate answer.

Look it’s not even like it’s a disagreement of opinion. Your opinion is based upon a total absence of reality in the assumptions you make and facts you create out of thin air to get to your opinion.

It like you are arguing the moon is made of cheese because the earth is flat. Then when you are forced to accept the earth isn’t flat you hurl back an insult instead.

because the earth is flat.

It's ok, you and your QAnon crazies (Joker) can go around in your Ace and Gary echo chamber. It lets me know I'm on the right track. the total opposite take from andyjohnson = the right track

Come on Josh,
Now you are resorting to altering posts? Nice
I guess it’s a little more effort than responding to a
argument with zero facts and claiming being proven wrong on all the facts means you are right.

Why not just admit you are a casual football fan, don’t really understand the game, know what you are looking at, or understand how a football team works and who is responsible for what, but you really like to randomly pick villains and make things up to criticize them?
At least someone might respect you for honesty.

The difference between DropKickNewton and the rest of us is that he actually sits in on all relevant meeting between coaches and front office personnel, that’s why he knows who said what, who did what etc… That’s how he can tell us all of the relevant inner workings of the Patriots organization. It’s also how he correctly predicted that Cam Newton needed to start for them and Mac Jones should sit and learn from him, So while most people would just dismiss him as completely full of sh.t, we all know better. Cam was definitely the right choice.

More *********** buddies. Look I'm sorry you can't deal with any criticism of the pats. You lost all credibility, not that you had any, when you were losing your mind over any criticisms when the team was 2-4. You have zero football opinions, you're just a lemming who blindly supports any crappy move. We all get this about Ivan
