Raiders ready to give Mcdaniels full power? Reputable source?

He didn't draft anyone at either franchise.
He was a scout.
If you read into his time with both clubs he had a lot of input.
Listen lol it’s about new Blood.
This is the first draft Belichick didn’t make a pick where Kiper had to research who the guy was.
There was no he was a Gunner divisional three with a torn ACL kind of pick.

So who Mel Kiper does and doesn't know factors into your evaluation?

I'm sure Wolf has a good football mind but let's pump the breaks on thinking he had more power than he actually did

To be clear, BB promoted Zigler be his Caserio. He was responsible for setting the draft board this year- not Wolf. The result was an excellent draft.

Players he’s drafted in Green Bay and Cleveland and how we seemed to have our first great draft since Pioli since Wolf is here.

Other than Christian Barmore, who Belichick credited Wolf with making the trade for, there is no evidence that Wolf has made any picks anywhere. He has been a part of several front offices but has never been in charge of a draft. Show us the proof of draft picks Wolf has made?

I’m fine with Wolf and Zeigler both being here, but pretending you guys actually know who is doing what is complete bullish.t. Stick to facts instead of making sh.t up.

That was kind of my thought process, too; I figured 2022 would tell us for sure

I think we have to give him another season and hope he is a slow learner, so this season was a learning experience, I hope.

There is no choice worse than BOB to replace MacDaniels. He’s a piece of sh.t who destroyed the Texans. The one sure way to destroy Jones career is to hire that sack of sh.t to coach him.
He never impressed me a all when he was the OC here, BoB was over the top pass happy. He ignored running the ball in favor of throwing on first, second, and third down. It wasn't hard for the opposing defense to figure out what the play was going to be....Brady to Moss. I was happy he left.

Agree completely, but it was what he did to the Texans franchise that convinced me he was not someone I ever wanted around this franchise. He drive DeAndre Hopkins out of town when he told him he had “ too many baby mama’s.” He’s a low life.

Yeah, I'm hoping he comes out swinging in 2022, because he is such a dynamic player
Jonnu?
I agree him and Agholar improving would be huge but we need 2 more WRs at least.

BOB was the one OC who couldn’t win a Lombardi when he was here, and his relationship with Brady was the worst of the OC’sBrady played for. I completely believe the reports from Houston that the players hated his guts and considered him a racist, and that he was a snake who deliberately screwed the team to get out of there. I think he’s a true scumbag, and I don’t want him anywhere near this team. However, if he does end up back in N.E. I will let my opinion on be known when it happens, and then I will drop it, as I have no intention of beating it to death over and Iover and over and over ………… for as long as he is here, because I have absolutely no respect for people who do that. The NEM’s should be banned for abusing this site.
Not sure I'm on the same page with you about BOB but you've raised concerns and worries with me.
An occasional reminder of your position, OK and appropriate, especially adding value and perspective in context of a discussion
A "Told You So" or 3 is fine and well earned should results turn dire
But Thanks for deciding not to be a NEM or a You-Know-Who every page of nearly every future thread on this issue.

Do we really want Bob here instead of McD? I know one guy that does but is that really going to be the answer?

Gotta say, Davis gave Gruden a 10y contract, full control and, if not for the WFT storm, he would probably be leading a good team, built by him, into the play-offs, with all of his people in commanding positions. Kinda feels like, at the very least, Mark Davis is letting another captain steer the ship

if McDaniels is sure that this will continue... Kinda feels like a great opportunity for real. Carr was/is better than Mac, and like it was said, last year of contract, so he could start hauling picks from the getgo, at the very least, with Jimmy on the market.

I hope he takes it. Good luck Josh! I already miss you buddy!
There is a strong belief that David wanted Gruden so requested the league reveal the Gruden emails. Of course they are the only ones revealed so it lends credence to that theory.
I think if Gruden wasn’t fired the Raiders faded like they do every year and end up 7-10 or 8-9.
Gruden was a bad hire.

Ziegler deserves a lot of credit in a season his boss may get an executive of the year award.
The only reason Ziegler doesn’t credit on this board and somehow Wolf does is because we have one poster who posts incessantly and although he knows nothing about the topic doesn’t like Ziegler because he went to school with McDaniels.
It’s a fake news conspiracy theory big lie that shows his if you repeat a lie enough times some people believe it.

Yep. The NEM act is as obnoxious as it gets. There’s nothing wrong with having a strong opinion on something, but repeating it ad nauseum for months and years shows absolutely no respect for the board. And what makes it far worse is when they don’t just do it in threads related to that agenda, but work it into every thread regardless of the topic. I won’t like it one but if O’ Brien ends up back with the Patriots, and I believe it’s the worst thing Belichick could do to Jones development, but I’m not going to pound on it over snd over.

His football opinion is worthless.

Why wouldn’t you identify and credit this draft to the guy who was put in charged of it for the first time after being the PRO personnel director? Instead you want to credit a consultant?
That’s like giving the OL coach credit for Tom Brady’s success.

But he spews it so much novice fans think it’s accurate and repeat it. It’s destroying the board.
I don't think he has that kind of influence here

Fair

I didnt like Grudens hire at first, but looking at the results i see (which is basically their W-L every year, i guess, plus their draftees) and how Carr performed with him, i cant say I didnt respect a bit what he was doing there.

I guess I read something about these rumours and is very easy to believe in them, yeah.
