OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Brady has thrown TDs in the final seconds for wins, not just FGs. I mean, Brandin Cooks against the Texans, Kenbrell Thompkins against the Saints, these things are seared into my brain.

that’s not what I am taking about…I am talking about getting the ball deep in your own territory with 40 seconds or so left and no timeouts and putting together a GW drive. On the Thompkins TD versus the Saints, Brady had 1:13 left.

I find Ryan Clark and Dan Orlovsky to be a lot more creditable than 99.9% of the local NFL reporters. I mean, Gregg Doyel covers the Colts.
It only matters who has the votes. Peter King said today it is a piece of floss separating Rodgers and Brady. I would imagine many feel the same way. Week 18 will be big for Brady to drive home his candidacy as the MVP pick.

Hmmm then there might be a chance.

The problem with stats is you need to have a reason to put up TDs to get them. The JETS put up a huge fight so the offense had to keep throwing and they got stats. If next week TB scores 2 quick TDs and the defense holds and they run one in or whatever they will simply run out the game the rest of the way and Brady could finish with like 250 yards and 1TD. He won't throw from the 1 when you can run it in.

Arians said after the game that Brady was MVP. I think it matters to him that Brady gets it so I can see him letting Brady throw it inside the 10 versus a horrible Panthers team at home to ensure he gets the MVP. At least I hope so. Plus, Brady needs to continue work on chemistry with the new guys.

That would be a bit foolish unless the game is over or they can't run it against the front. Should be interesting either way.

The Tampa OLine has been the MVP of the league IMO.

This is why I think Brady will continue playing deep into the game. They need to work in the new guys and third string guys like it is preseason.

Aaron Rodgers deserves the MVP. Look what he did vs SF earlier this year. He leads his team to victory down 28-27 with 37 seconds left and no timeouts. I can't remember the last time Brady won a game getting the ball with so little time remaining...I've seen him do it with 2 mins and perhaps even 1 minute, but less than 40 seconds?

that was all Devante Adams and Mason Crosby. Even Jordan Love could have thrown the ball to wide open DA on those two passes. 49ers defense was sh*t in September, they had given up 33 points to the lions and lost to the helpless Seahawks.

All advanced stats show that Aaron Rodgers ran the poorest QB play in the first 4 weeks of the season vs 49ers...list included Goff, Jalen Hurts and nonDangerRuss

you're a terrible poster

In terms of the playoffs, what looks most likely is the Rams win and the Bucs are the 3 seed playing the Eagles. Saints would then go to LA to play Rams. If Niners win than the Saints are out and the Bucs are the 2 playing the Niners in the WC round.

Percentages how? 4QC's per games played?

No

You'd want 4QCs per/possible 4QCs. In other words, how many times does the QB succeed when put in the position of needing to do so.

Rapaport and McAfee are saying that they've been told that AB felt wronged how the Bucs handled his suspension and the relationship changed when he came back LMAO he got mad at the team when he should've been grateful they didn't cut his ass when that happened.

LOL, WTF are smoking? It took Rodgers 2 throws to win that game starting from the 25 yard line...didn't Brady have 29 seconds left and 3 T0s to get us a game tying FG in SB 42? He got a grand total of zero yards.

That line is as good as it is because Brady makes it that good. We saw the same thing in New England. Brady is a force multiplier moreso than any other QB in NFL history.
He is but he has some real all stars up front. But also hot heads too. The 15 yard penalties have to be driving him nuts!

Good fu.ck him then. Arians did nothing wrong yesterday.

I bet AB wanted to appeal but when the NFL said it would be 8 games if he tried the Bucs said don’t and he didn’t understand that the team helped him because he’s a moron.

All he had to do was pay his chef.
