OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Yeah. Don't let him play anywhere this year. They are well within their rights to suspend him given what he did today.
The more I think about it the more I think you need to release him if that's what they choose to do. Imagine the social media distractions this guy will cause if you hold him hostage on IR or on suspension with no intention of playing him.

Why so he can quit in a playoff game? There are things you can do, what he did today was not one of them. You cannot quit on your team.
I know, I was sort of just joking. Just saying it's painful to let someone go when they are all that. You want to take the person back but you know you can't.

This makes BA look like a clown. It's his jobs to know how to deal with all types of players and how he dealt with this caused an epic exit. I do like how the offense responded though.

Then what’s the point of the meltdown aside from brain damage? If he says he literally can’t go because of injury then Arians is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT RIGHT to say sit the rest of the game out because they need him healthy.

This is ridiculous. AB is nursing a bad ankle injury that was the real reason he was out for so long. If he said himself to Arians that it was sore and he didn’t want to go out then Arians was ONE HUNDRED PERCENT right to shut him down. This isn’t a debate.

Yes, but the Rams have a game lead straight up. That’s why they needed to lose today.
I believe if the Bucs and Cardinals finishes the season tied the Bucs will have the tiebreaker! It's looking like the Bucs,Cardinals and Rams will all have something to play for next Sunday!

This does not reflect today's totals as Brady is now at 40 TDs and 10 yards shy of 5000. How can he not be MVP?

I think BA is a little bit of a hot head himself. We will be looking back in retrospect and wonder how AB and BA lasted this long together.

WTF this makes BA look even better. Brown didn't practice for two days due to the ankle and if he told him he was sore then he protected him for the future

How sweet it is! Great comeback Tom and THANK YOU for not letting the Jets fans who celebrated your exit from the AFC East get a win and bragging rights over you in probably the last game you'll ever play against the Jets. The especially sweet part is they thought they had the game in the bag up until they came up with zero points after 4th and 2 and you know in the back of the fans minds they thought... "uh oh, 2 minutes left for Brady...."

That's not my understanding of what happened. I read it as BA wanted him in on that play and AB said he was sore and then BA lost it on him. You don't lose it on a loose cannon like that especially over something like that. I read it as AB needed rest between reps and BA said play now or don't play at all. If that's me misunderstanding then fine, but if that's the case who looks like a clown really? Well both do because AB always does but you get my point.

I’m by no means trying to take credit for predicting this pregame, but it just seems like such a stupid thing to play a guy in a game you’re trying, but not really trying, to win. Putting him on a pitch count and also trying to get him his incentives, in a game where suddenly you don’t have the luxury of throwing away shovel passes and cute stuff. I hated the idea of Evans and Brown playing to reach statistical milestones when they’re both dealing with lingering issues. I hated Evans playing last year and risking an injury for a record.

I figured AB would reinjure his ankle, but it was worse. Just seems like a very confusing predicament for everyone. Like, why the hell is he playing? It it to win? To earn an incentive? Seems like a really stupid idea. Just tell him quietly you’ll pay him after the season for the incentives and stop worrying about this crap.

It will be Trey Lance vs the Rams next week. There’s no hope.

Matthew Stafford turned the ball over SIX TIMES the past two games and yet won both. So insanely lucky.

So what about Gronk? Anything else happened in the game lol?

For sure this. Sounds like BA wanted him to play as much as AB wanted to play and when AB couldn't go more and they were down 14 points BA lost it.

AB melted down and got cut from 3 separate teams before the Bucs. Maybe the problem is AB dude.

Where is there evidence that Arians lost it? Is there sideline footage? I certainly haven’t seen it.

I don't think it was just about incentives but getting AB in cohesion with the rest of the offense given Godwin is on IR. If I had to guess, Brady and him wanted the work to try to refine things with the offense and all the new guys.

BA said it apparently to Glazer after the game to get in the game or get the hell out. Am I misunderstanding? The guy said his ankle was sore and couldn't go in and BA told him to go now or leave. Everyone including myself thought this would be about AB not getting enough reps but apparently down 14 points and hurt he wanted a rest and BA said no. THAT'S what I'm talking about.
