OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

They had to. That was the ultimate teammate betrayal
It's like getting dumped by your hot girlfriend before the prom. If a girl is super hot shouldn't they be given a pass on the first 2 betrayal?

Why so he can quit in a playoff game? There are things you can do, what he did today was not one of them. You cannot quit on your team.

Yeah thats what I said. I am just saying that things in the postseason change. Anyone who has been a football fan longer than a year would know that.
Things in the post season change? Tell me more Mr Wizard. The Saints were beaten last year therefor matchups mean nothing! Nothing!

Will there be high quality makeup sex?

If Aaron Rodgers can’t get back to the Super Bowl with the Bucs weakened even more, he will never get back.
He's had so many chances. He doesn't it have it in him to raise his game against tougher opponents in the playoffs.

The Bucs should just IR Brown that way no other team can sign him.
I doubt Brown would go along with this and he would most likely file a complaint otherwise I'd say for sure you go that route. My preferred route is wait a week for things to cool and then talk to the team leaders but just cut him outright if need be.

I'm not sure who the possession receiver will be but they won't win without him. If the players want him gone he should be gone but otherwise you make him apologize and suspend him 1 game. If he won't come back cut him and if the captains on the team want him gone cut him. Everything else is people exaggerating.
If it was the NBA, a superstar such as Brown would be taken back with open arms, but it's football which has a bit of a military style going to war mentality. Quitting in the middle of a battle is not tolerated.

You are allowed to suspend him though, same deal

Yes they do. I am sure last year you were crying they had to play the saints in NO. Maybe go ahead and watch the games and see how it goes. Again football...watching games...

The biggest problem in Tampa is not AB but BA. They had the initial mixed up
Yeah, BA still rubs me the wrong way. I'd still rather have AB over BA.

If Belichick had signed AB twice for a dirt cheap deal, gotten premium production and won a SB, and then washed his hands of it as soon as AB started to negatively affect the team, people would say that’s why Belichick is so shrewd. The “next man up” chorus after today’s win would be loud.

Arians did nothing wrong. He signed AB when he should have, twice. He gave him a second chance, which was the right thing to do for the team. Now he’s releasing him when it’s the right thing to do. The contract was cheap; it’s not like they paid him $70M and tied up all their cap space. Players on all teams can be divas. Coaches balance that with winning. There’s a ridiculous narrative people are always trying to make that Arians is a total buffoon and moron. Really the only thing Arians did wrong was saying “one mistake and he’s gone” last year when he shouldn’t have said that to the media. But in the end, who cares? The media makes a big deal about it. Players understand the locker room and the team goals.

Man if the Ravens didn’t choke on a game deciding 4th down the Bucs get the 2 seed and the Rams fall to the wildcard because the Cards regain their division lead. What a missed opportunity.

I much rather the Cardinals to win the NFC West than the Rams! Which will set up a bloodbath between the Rams and the Cowgirls wildcard weekend!

Couldn’t agree more.

I believe if the Cardinals and Rams finishes the season tied Arizona wins the tiebreaker for the West!

I said the same thing, IR him or suspend him.
Yeah. Don't let him play anywhere this year. They are well within their rights to suspend him given what he did today.

Yes, but the Rams have a game lead straight up. That’s why they needed to lose today.
