OT: Official 2021 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Nope, you're missing the point. When the Bucs supporting cast is perfectly intact, Brady can effectively work a system that doesn't rely on maximizing his skill set. When it isn't and the coaches can't adjust accordingly, he's hung out to dry. That's why Tampa failed to score 10 points last night with their defense playing lights out. Superior coaching and a system designed to maximize Brady's abilities is why you saw him succeed so often in New England with mediocre weapons at his disposal.
Funny, Brady spent all of last year and this one overcoming injuries to his weapons, yet this one bad game is somehow supposed to be proof of his inability to do just that.

I count Mile High as Broncos/Peyton lol

oh i didn't see "mile high." But Peyton beat Tom in the 2006 AFCCG in Indy. Overall, he's 3-0 against him in conference championship games.

Maybe I’m being dramatic but after the Pats losing the inside track to the one seed to fall to now fighting for the division and the Bucs just absolutely puking all over themselves I havent felt this depressed about a weekend of football since the Miami Miracle. Just a giant kick in the balls.
I was more shocked by the Patriots losing because of how they looked and what was at stake as we have the top seed and I really thought our defense would dominate a colts team that tries to give games away.

The bucs have Brady and most likely will be fine or otherwise derailed by injuries which stinks but it happens. When Mac said the Patriots lacked energy coming out of the bye, it really depressed me. I had said multiple times up here that I didn't think the Patriots will lose another game. Perhaps I was overestimating the team with a rookie quarterback. But I just can't believe they looked that bad verse the colts for three plus quarters.

It just felt like they gave the top seed away so carelessly. Plus, I really, really dislike Kansas City so maybe that is why I am taking the Patriots loss worse because now it looks like the Chiefs are going to be the top seed and most likely head back to the super bowl. That's really depressing.

He's 1-2 isn't he? 2003 he won vs Indy I believe correct me if I'm wrong. Either way 0-2 vs Peyton as a Bronco

Funny graphic but imagine if Tyree doesn't have stickum on his helmet, Welker wipes the butter off his hands, and Bill doesn't bench Butler ...
Meh, it happened so it is what it is. All of our Superbowls could've gone either way. A Seattle fan could easily say imagine if Butler doesn't pick it off etc..

Yes complete the transition into a decades long Pats hater and start arguing that Peyton>Brady.

I'm sorry you guys lost yesterday. But hey, you have some easy games coming up with Carolina and the Jets.

Sure but I guess I think of an Achilles heel as something more than just a freaky Play or a terrible coaching decision. Based on that I guess I would say Brady in Miami is probably his toughest foe. And now obviously the Saints although given he beat them in the playoffs last year and won the super bowl, it is kind of hard to put them in that category.

Brady named to record-breaking 15th pro bowl
Awesome! Freaking awesome. This caps a season where he set multiple legacy records including passing yards and completions and won SIs sports person of the year. This is his 22nd season but he did not play his rookie year or in 2008 due to injury so he has made 15 pro bowls out of 20 seasons. That's why he's the Goat.

Timmy to chime in on why this isn't as big an accomplishment as it sounds in 3...2...1...
LOL. What's ironic is Brady is famous for saying he doesn't play the game to go to pro bowls but to go win super bowls and yet he has done both more than any other player in NFL history.

Brady was previously tied with Peyton Manning, Bruce Mathews, Merlin Olsen, and Tony Gonzalez. That's a heck of a Hall of Fame group to separate from.

Lol the irony of Arians debating on letting AB go
Thank goodness they have AB. I don't believe Tampa was ever seriously considering letting him go. They were just pandering to the media to make it seem like they actually cared about the fake vax card. I mean Florio needed to have his five stories a day on it, right?
