I think the Chiefs would be better for OBJ. He could be their WR 2.
We could say the same for the packers. And despite the Rodgers hate for this season he’s been a better QB than Mahomes.

So Brady now is responsible for that defense as well....please stop....let's not get into this Brady discussion all over again....please take that to his forum
You said that. I am just giving you facts. The bucs were 27th in defense the year before Brady got there, oh and yeah, if you have a QB who does not turn the ball over and scores a lot of points and does long drives it helps your defense. Did you not know that? There is not a single person on this planet that said Brady went to a super team. The do not win anything unless he went there, this was proven by....well them not winning anything for 18 years.

whether you would trust Stafford over Brady in a hypothetical NFCCG.
Some choices are not so hard

"While Tampa Bay was 15th (343.9) in total yards per game allowed and 29th (28.1) points allowed, they came in at a whopping fifth in total defensive DVOA. Even crazier? When adjusted for the strength of the opponent, they move up to third.

How can this be? How can one unit be both top five in DVOA but bottom five in points allowed?

The answer, as many have likely already guessed, was turnovers. The Buccaneers’ offense committed a league-leading 41 turnovers in 2019, averaging a staggering 2.6 giveaways per game."

lol. I mean I guess it helps, but this isnt madden, it takes a minute for a player to get going on a new team in the middle of the year. Rams better win it all this year becuase they are going to be having a fire sale after this year. At some point people like to get money.

Which means.....Brady helped their defense...amazing how things work huh? QB's and offenses in general help defense, and vice versa. If you do not turn the ball over and maintain drives and convert 3rd downs, guess what...your defense gives up less yards and points. Again, before Brady no playoff wins 18 years...amazing what a great QB does for you.

Almost everyone in the league is throwing a deep cover 2 at the Chiefs, and Reid is bullheaded in refusing to adapt to it and scheme against it.

The big loser in this is Mahomes.
I am not sure Mahomes can do that. His game is what he is. He drops back 20 yards, if he does not see anything, he will attempt to run around until someone gets open deep. 3 step drops, pre snap reads, yeah not his game.

Rams Super Bowl.
I think the Rams try to buy up free agency before, didnt work out then either. The Bad thing is, their D is not as good this year as it was last year. Last year was the time to get it.

Big? I don’t think either puts ‘em over the top. We’ll see if McVay can get it done. There’s only so many guys to spread the ball to, and Miller hasn’t exactly turned it on this year. Wouldn’t be surprised if they come out hot and fizzle towards the end. They should be exciting to watch. They’ve still got the Ravens, Packers, and Cardinals on the schedule, and on the road to boot. That’ll tell everyone what kind of playoff team they will be.

No, but it makes them among the very best of the top teams in the NFL, all of whom are tough - Rams, Bucs, Packers, Cards, and Cowboys. It'll be a dog fight for sure in the NFC playoffs and the winner of that conference deserves to win the SB. The AFC in comparison is pathetic.

Agreed

KC lacks WR3. Kelce, Hill and Jags who don't catch the ball or don't get open.

Hardman has not stepped up and it remains to be seen what Josh Gordon has left.

Has Miller played yet?

Thing is...Hill and Kelce should be enough, I have seen the pats win with less. I think its the style they play, it works when you have a lot of fast guys all over the place, but if you dont....
