belichick gave Bruce the salty vet treatment. Belichick is an all time great strategist but he needs work on his treatment of proven vets late in their careers. They all leave with sour grapes

I’ve seen them all play. Just an opinion. Seymour has a case in his prime at being better all around but Jones is on pace to finish with hall of fame level numbers in several very important statistical categories

I won’t argue against the 03-09 version of Seymour. I mean…complete monster.

mcginist was a fan favorite, super clutch, and great leader..but his overall career is below chandler Jones. I know it’s tough to admit because we all love willie

You would've wanted to sign Flowers to that ridiculous contract he got from Patricia? The consensus on this board was that he was predicted to get $15M per year which I thought was outrageous. $13M was my max. He got $18M per year!

Jones was more complicated as it's apparent his skill set was better utilized elsewhere.

Chandler Jones will go down as our best defensive draft pick of past 30 years..

his career is arguably better than wilfork McGinnist and even Seymour. Tough to compare with Ty Law different positions and I loved Law.

The 2009-2012 drafts were so good, as good as the John Carroll-roomates (Dumb and Dumber) drafts from 2013-2019 were bad.

Gronk, Edelman, Hernandez, Hightower, McCourty, Patrick Chung, Chandler Jones, several others. The foundation of the last 3 rings.

Too bad Mayo wasn't draft a few years later or he would've easily been on that list. I would've liked to have seen him play with a better supporting cast as he was chasing guys all around the field because their front 7's (aside from Wilfork) were atrocious.

While Spikes was over drafted, he was a very hard hitting run defender who was also wasted with terrible front 7's. Great run blitzer.

I want to throw him in there as well.
