GOAT just being the GOAT. His GWDs are just expected now, like routine. LOL

Congrats to your Bucs...let's see if you'll show up in the GDT in a few weeks.

Looked like he pushed off and extended his arm to me. It looked like a clear case of OPI.

100%...he's just sticking up for the Bucs

The cowboys had the refs in their pocket for the entire game. They benefited overall from the refs big time.

In the first half Dallas was the beneficiary of more penalties, but certainly not in the second half.

I saw the Bucs' center tackle a pass-rusher (in the exact same way that Dallas was penalized for on their final offensive drive) and no flag was thrown. The first Brady throwaway (the one that landed downfield, not the ones thrown OOB) could have (arguably) been called intentional grounding based on the precedent that was set in the '11/'12 Super Bowl and that regular season game against Seattle 10 years ago.

I don't think the refs decided the outcome either way, though. Both teams were sloppy but both looked talented and capable. I was semi-surprised at how well Dak and the Dallas' offense played. Whether that's a credit to the Cowboys' offense or an indictment on the Bucs' pass defense remains to be seen.

Brady is still Brady...
yes
Godwin however is a gigantic POS...
lol
TB should have won going away.
eh, their defense gave up a lot to a one dimensional dallas team
Perhaps the drunk HC should inform Chris the stiff that the season started tonight...
lol
and yes he committed a drive killing OPI...
truedat
lucky it was the demon seed of Hockaloogie reffing this mess...
lmfao... you have a gift.

If I am the Bucs, I would be concerned about the defense. The defense was a huge reason why they won in the playoffs last year. Tonight they knew the Cowboys were passing on virtually every down and couldn’t do much to stop them.

It is the first game and this could be an aberration, but is something they should be a little worried about.

You can get players like Vea when you constantly draft in the top 10
That definitely helps, for sure. Vea went 12, about ten picks ahead of us but remember we had multiple 1st round picks and a 2nd. Sometimes trading up is the right move. The draft is a little crazy though.

Vea was a big fav in the DF before he came out.

Nah, you can’t hate on him for taking advantage of his fame. I can’t imagine there was a clause in his deal with the Pats he couldn’t do endorsements. It’s bizarre he didn’t do this sooner. In the fact, it would’ve benefited Krafts bottom line making the Pats a bigger brand.

He did do commercial endorsements while a Patriot, just not many of them. I think his off-field pursuits then were focused on honing the TB12 brand. Now he's hawking everything, including sub sandwiches he hasn't eaten in 30 years.

Was it the heat tonight that made the Bucs D look like crap? They certainly do have an impressive O lineup but they look old and slow except for their psycho linebacker in the front seven...and their secondary is soft...at least it was tonight

It’s crazy how many endorsements deals he has now.

He spent too much time on TB12.

There aren't too many teams on their schedule with a great QB-WR combo like Dallas has...maybe Atlanta, New Orleans (if Winston plays well), and Buffalo. In the playoffs maybe it's a different story with Seattle, GB, Arizona, KC, etc.

As far as NE is concerned., I don't like the idea of playing a rookie QB against Brady. I know it's Mac Jones, who has won pressure-packed games in college before, but still...Dak made some GREAT throws tonight to help keep the game close, which I'm not sure Mac is ready to do just yet.

Their pass-rush still looks strong and they still appear to have a lot of talent in the front-7. I'm not sure how talented their secondary is, but if nothing else they have some athletic DBs.

But yeah, something felt off. Not sure if it was a mental lull, or perhaps some aggregated drop-off due to age/attrition on the margins, but they didn't look comfortable playing pass defense at any point.

My inclination is to give more credit to the Dallas' offense because they have some talented players, but I do think that well-coached teams with some offensive talent will be able to move the ball (specifically through the air) on the Bucs' defense.

BTW,,,can't wait for the Brady haters on the NFLN to start bashing Brady for all the Bucs mistakes tonight on offense...and bring up Forehead ManHGHning all daym night

I’m thinking about buying tickets to the bucs game week 4

You must need therapy to be a Dallas fan. They find new and interesting ways to rip your heart out every season. 4 TOs and they still manage to lose.
