There’s a limit to how many times they can activate one guy I think, though, right? Or has that changed?

I did a quick check, with no mention of a maximum number of times. But I didn't check the official NFL RULES manual or bulletin. So it's either something you can do every week, or something you can do when your starting kicker starts to get wobbly. Either way, it's at least a theoretically plausible approach to take, IMO.

I thought they asked him to do more than he could last year as they tried to figure out where in the puzzle he fit. he wasn't impressive. Then this year, thus far and now all the way through, nothing.

Hope he can bounce back, but at least he's in a position where the Pats are deep and talented.

Yep, called it, not concerned. Brian's too tenured to go through waivers, so no risk of a claim, and he has said very clearly he has no desire to go anywhere else at this point in his career.

I hope the team can utilize Winovich now that he’s back. He’s given some quality tackles fits & is going from the top rusher to a rotational player. A DL of Uche - Barmore - Judon - Winovich on 3rd & long could be unreal.
