Apparently he had a good enough attitude (or at least played well enough) to be considered a top-10 pick as recently as less than a year ago.

I think it's quite possible for this to be true, but I just don't see him retaining trade value if the reason he left Baltimore was his attitude being this bad.
Come on. He was a captain. Ohio State doesn’t let you tell them what you want to do and where you want to play.
To be fair, allegedly killing two people doesn't necessarily make you have a bad attitude around football coaches and teammates. These clowns had *alleged* double-murderer Ray-Ray, and are *****ing about somebody else? After erecting a statue to RLKAG? GTFO.
I dunno, sounds kinda made up to me. If he sucked at outside corner and refused to play inside the right coaching move would be to bench him. It's not like Alabama is so low on talent that they couldn't replace him.
They couldn’t replace ‘em. They never had ‘em.I dunno, sounds kinda made up to me. If he sucked at outside corner and refused to play inside the right coaching move would be to bench him. It's not like Alabama is so low on talent that they couldn't replace him.
With Gilmore on PUP and now J. Jones getting banged up today, this makes sense. We could use more depth at that position anyway.
Sounds like wade wasn't having a productive camp there and wasn't beating anyone out, even an UDFA CB. Ravens probably wanted to get something back in return.
Not saying he won't translate here, could be decent depth, but I'm not getting my hopes up he's a diamond in the rough.
That post sounds like it's from someone who's girlfriend slept with Wade..
Moved outside where he was one of the worst FBS CBs (QBR 118, 600 yds, 6 TDs). A healthy 5th round pick who couldn’t make the Ravens. He’s a depth, ST guy who you try to develop. Opening day will be Mills and Jackson outside.
It’s not a damning report it’s some guy on Reddit making it up.Since most teams will keep 5 CB's for defensive depth as well as ST's play, regardless of his 40 time and previous high draft status, the BOTTOM LINE here is that there were 5 CB's on the Ravens roster that beat this kid out. So its not like we are going to get a world beater in this trade. This kid is a developmental player, not an impact one.
That's not including the damning report of him having a bad attitude at OSU. So I guess my take is that this is an "intriguing" trade. Unfortunately it leads me to believe that Gilmore is NOT going to be ready for the start of the season. Though I doubt this has any meaning as to Gilmore's contract situation
Could very well be. I'm not on any of these platforms, so I wouldn't know. Its just that after reading several pages of glowing reports on this kid. Great size, Great speed, Great arm length. (would love to see his 3 cone time) the fact he was considered a first round pick who dropped due to a bad year but fighting an injury and the general dislocation of playing college football in 2020. You'd have to say WOW, we got a real steal. What a prospect. And didn't I see a poster where they had him rated as one of the top 3 rookie CB's in man coverage this preseason. RIght? It’s not a damning report it’s some guy on Reddit making it up.
