i don't think anyone is saying there is no racism in boston. speaking for myself and the small sample size i've witnessed it's as bad if not worse other places unlike espn would like people to believe. just look at donald sterling, espn never brings that racist ass up. anyone remember the watts riots or rodney king or reginald denny or mark fuhrman or la police as a whole. so cal is full of racial problems. espn is just ny pointing it's finger at boston when ny has plenty of problems. what city spit on trae young ? that's way more despicable than a water bottle. that's not me wagging my finger at nyers as racist .that's me saying worry about your own backyard.

Rather than try to apply terms like racism to an elite city, state or region, I’d like to know if there’s any actual methodology to this. It’s such a predictable **** show when someone (DKF here) proclaims something like “Boston is a racist city!!!” and you know it’s going to be followed by anecdotal claims from both sides of the argument. You could walk into the most ”progressive” city in the world but happen to sit at a restaurant table next to racist rednecks.

Hey look…I can take 20 seconds to link racism to SF sports teams, too, which is close to home and considered progressive. Wouldn’t you know it…in cities with millions of people and when millions of fans attend home games every year, there are problems everywhere.
