if i told you i didn't already go do another mock with current selections.... id be lying

Damn that’s likely the guy the Bucs where looking at.

Son of a *****! Rousseau to the Bills

How did you go from

"They blew their future"

To

"I won I got the QB"?

How did you go from trade three first round picks to move up to draft One of the top QB prospects

To

I won because they got one?

That was the whole argument. You lost.

Severely lost. It must be embarrassing.

I feel sorry for you.

Do you need me to quote any of the many ridiculous desperation posts you've made in the last few weeks?

You lost

I won.

Games over.

I love it.

I will gloat about this for years to come.

I got a screen shot of it. Nice win, buddy.

If Bill followed his plan we prob wouldn’t be drafting in the 1st till 2024 with the move to 4. Bill played this to perfection. GM of the offseason no question.

Wtf are you talking about creepy?
I wanted a qb. We got a QB
I could not give 2 ****s whether it happened the way I expected it to or not.

you really need to get out of moms basement and get a life.
Obsessing over a stranger is not healthy.

I am very happy. We needed a qb and we got one. Whatever bizarre wining or losing scenario you made up in your psychotherapy session is meaningless to me.
Perhaps you should ask your therapist if it’s healthy that you spent months obsessing about a stranger who if shown your user name wouldn’t remember you enough to cite any opinion you had ever posted while you seem to have a photographic memory of me.
I am sure the board is very happy to have thictgread full of your childish trolling if someone who puts zero value on what your opinion is.

The ravens focusing on defense. They must feel good about their O-line after losing their starting tackle.

Well, for the record I'm really excited about the Jones selection for the Pats.

I admit, that in the modern era, despite being the clear GOAT Brady may not be the prototype of the most successful MODERN prototypes, he may simply be one of a kind. Many of the most successful modern quarterbacks have strong running skills as a dual threat.

And, who knows if he will be successful, there is only about a 50% "success" rate (meaning not totally being out the the league after a few years) for first round quarterbacks.

But is is clear why they selected him with his similarities to QBs like Brady and Brees:

* A fanatical competitor, although not really someone that (currently at least) worries about looking like a super hero at the combine (note the similarities between the shirtless pictures of the two at the same stage).
* Unbelievable confidence.
* Not an amazing running or jumping athlete but someone with great hand eye coordination and GREAT pocket footwork perhaps learned from another sport (for Brady it was baseball, for Brees and now Jones it was tennis).
* Very hard worker and a fabulous leader of his team.
* Super smart.
* Super fast at football decisions and intelligence.

The main differences as far as I can tell are: He was great at other sports (tennis) but not quite at the level of Brady (who could have been an all-pro catcher) and Brees (who could have been a tennis star). He is a very hard worker but I'm not sure if he has the level of seriousness that someone like Brady has (he is a bit of a joker with teammates, he likes practical jokes and so forth).

Honestly apart from everyone assuming the new five star recruit would take his place last year (which he definitely did not let happen) he probably hasn't had the same level of character-building adversity as someone like Brady.

So, who knows? .....But, I'm still excited

Oweh to the Ravens. That's the Judon replacement

Was watching a draft special after the Pats' pick. Curran and his guest claimed that Mac Jones has a MacEnroe level temper when things don't go his way on the field. And he already has a DUI under his belt. So not a great decision maker

Maybe this will be like the Jaylen Brown draft for the Celtics. I was really disappointed because I wanted Buddy Hield. This wasn't true early on, but I think Brown is the better player now. He's my favorite Celtic. Hell, he's probably the only player I like.

I just don't think this kid has the potential to ever be anything more than an above average QB. Top 15, maybe. Hope I am wrong.

Owusu and moehrig where considered first rounders and Yeni fell out of the first round.

LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (8th ranked)

DT Christian Barmore (13th ranked)

Still there.
