It makes no sense. It goes after guys based on their height which is idiot backwards logic.

I remember from 2008-to Ras IR Dowling ending that trend, they liked their midget “quick twitch” CB’s which was a disaster.

And it's no coincidence the Pats drafted great during 2009-2012 (O'Brien, Reese) and 2001-2004 (Weiss, Pioli).

Why do I stress good drafting so much? Because there’s a strong correlation between the years they won Super Bowls and when they didn’t. The 2009 draft was initially terrible, but paid off later along with the 2010-12 drafts which finally help ended the 10 year drought in 2014. Bill spent big in FA because his current drafts reflected poorly and these additions will help the team win now.

The periods from 2013-now and 2005-2008 we sucked at drafting because we have an OC who thought Tim Tebow was a 1st round QB.

That pick and Alphonso Smith was the beginning of the end for him.
