We had him, he made the franchise relevant for the first time ever in its existence, he produced multiple championship teams with entirely different rosters, and yet Belichick threw him out of town like a has-been. But, I don't doubt for a second that if coach Bill puts up another doozy of a season missing the playoffs without Brady, Krafty Bob may push him to gracefully "retire". We now have 7 seasons w no Brady (5 in Cleveland, 2 in NE) and Bill the Coach has made the playoffs ONCE without Brady.

Elite special teams

Rotational "send in waves" pass rushers.

Smart linebackers

Go back and look at the KC game. At the end of Q3, KC only had 6 points. That offense only scored 19 with 330 yards of offense.


On offense, he will start the process of going away from CAP busting franchise QB's to having:

Very competent QB play at a reasonable price with very smart scheme WR's at a reasonable price

Elite offensive line that excels in the run game. People will think Belichick invented I formation football.

Great Running Back by Committee to pound smaller, faster linebackers

This model gets games in the 20-25 points range.
