Brady's dad claims Bill may be "On the hot seat"

Hey, the guy told us for about 10 years that Brady and Belichick would eventually end and not exactly under ideal conditions... his son obviously confides in him a great deal so I wouldn't dismiss all his remarks out of hand (although saying Belichick may be "on the hot seat" is really just an opinion that Tom wouldn't have any special insight over so that remark I don't give much credence)

Guess its natural to feel some resentment there and itd be tough to hold back. At least Tb12 has managed to take the high road

What a hilarious thread. Is this what we've become in America?

Is there absolutely no possibility that he was laughing as he said it?

No chance this was just a joke?

C'mon people, save the outrage.

And before you tell me he needs to be more PR savvy when talking to the media, he's just a Dad.

Anyone who watched how Bill handled a “severance” with other marquee players could have called that. It was bound to end badly. All dynasties eventually do.

We’ve become worse than this in America.

There's been lots of "maybes" around this season. Maybe Bill was making excuses all year because he knew the media would create a Bill vs Brady debate and he wanted to get his side out there. Maybe Linda and Bill's views don't align with her social media activity. Maybe Brady's dad didn't mean anything by his comments.

Kraft is also pulling for his pal AB.

Time heals al wounds. After Brady wins in 2 weeks everybody can pile in the Bentley for a celebratory massage and cigar.
As long as those Cigars don’t come from the Clintons.

Eventually, Don Shula was on a hot seat. Ditto Tom Landry. Ditto Chuck Noll.

But the patience ought to be long, for such guys. And I am not sure that any of those guys are in BB's class or were as close to the owner.

Strap in folks. The next **** you tour is gonna get here real quick!

Amazing that the Brady Bunch has such affection for turncoat Bobby K who let TFB hang out to dry on Deflategate citing that "what's best for the 32" billionaires superseded like a son to me Tom Brady's interests and forever reputation. Four game suspension.
Brady Bunch, "Please sir, may I have another?"
Bob is not someone to share a foxhole with.

BB would have 10 job offers within 24 hours of leaving the Pat's.

Then Kraft has nothing. How many assistant coaches and front office types would bolt versus stay on a sinking ship. Jonathan and Bob can run the franchise like Jerry Jones making draft picks and everything.

Agreed. My only real takeaway is that there definitely seems to be a frosty relationship between camp Bill and camp Brady.
in my mind there has always been a frosty relationship between Bill and Brady's dad. I have read articles throughout the years that made it seem Tom Sr. was not a fan of Bill, but he kept it professional for the sake of his son.

It is pretty interesting when you put it that way. I'd be a little upset with BB's roster management if I were a 40+ year old GOAT QB, but I'd also be mad about what Kraft failed to do. Maybe Brady really does care about nothing more or less than winning Super Bowls, which Deflategate empirically did not hinder. If you don't care about legacy, you could say no harm no foul.

Also, Brady Sr doesn't seem to mind that Uncle Bob had his crank polished in Jupiter, Fla and would have been caught if not for his big money legal team.

It's like it never happened and now the video is to be destroyed.

Funny, I was thinking of a top 10 people who want Brady to win to stick it Bill and hadn't thought of Brady senior.

1. Malcolm Butler
2. Lawyer Milloy
3. Adalius Thomas
4. Bill Pollian
5. Mike Tannenbaum
6. Tuna
7. Logan Mankins
8. Bernie Kosar
9. Drew Bledsoe
10. Don Trump
Love the list idea. I would also add:
Rex Ryan
John Harbaugh
Peyton Manning
All relatives of Don Shula
Most if not all of the Boston sports media
