Can anyone think of a player who deserve the benefit of the doubt more than Brady?Unless your one of those who wants to pay anything to make sure Brady retires a Pat I don’t see the problem going year to year once a player hits 40. Hats off to Tom for the year he’s having but can anyone think of another player who’s played at this kind of level at his age?
It was not even Bill who wanted to draft him. It was the scout that pushed for him.Bill drafted Brady... how is this even a conversation.
Yeah real analysis like "Durr Bill draft Brady so Bill better" is what is needed.Oh... this is one of those Brady is so good he doesn't need blocking, defense or special teams conversations.
The late great **** Rehbein pushed for Brady. It was not even Bill who wanted to draft him. It was the scout that pushed for him.
No Brady, no patsfans.com website. No Wozzy.Bill drafted Brady... how is this even a conversation.
No Bill... no Brady.
Brady ends up playing behind Arizona's offensive line, you don't even know who he is unless you are a Michigan alum... and he walks with a limp after his four year career is over.
Brady deserves MVP consideration. With that said look around, it's a kinder gentler age for QB's, they barely get grass stains on their uniforms anymore. They're all playing until 40 or beyond; Brees, Ben... and < these guys all straddled the old rules. The next generation, the Mahomes and the rest could play to 50.Can anyone think of a player who won the MVP at 40 years old? Can anyone think of a player who deserve the benefit of the doubt more than Brady?

Brett Favre played at a very high level for Minnesota in his age 40 season. And subsequently fell off the cliff the next season. Can anyone think of a player who won the MVP at 40 years old? Can anyone think of a player who deserve the benefit of the doubt more than Brady?
So then we should give Kraft credit because he hired Bill. Stupid logic.Who drafted Brady?
No one asked you to jump in and act like a 7 year old. Finally
Kraft didn’t coach belichick on how to do his job.So then we should give Kraft credit because he hired Bill. Stupid logic.
Yes, Kraft gets credit for hiring Bill.So then we should give Kraft credit because he hired Bill. Stupid logic.
Ultimately there was going to be a year of pain when it ended one way or another. There was no avoiding that because there would always be a dead money hit and cap pushed forward to deal with.Unless your one of those who wants to pay anything to make sure Brady retires a Pat I don’t see the problem going year to year once a player hits 40. Hats off to Tom for the year he’s having but can anyone think of another player who’s played at this kind of level at his age?
He also personally coached Brady.Yes, Kraft gets credit for hiring Bill.
Bill gets credit for hiring all the players, coaches and football operations... good or bad.
BB not only drafted Tom, he chose to roster four QB's going forward and moved him up the depth chart quickly. The first year Tom started he completed 63% of his passes, averaged 190 passing yards per game and threw 18 TD's to 12 INT's... or almost as many picks as TD's. The notion that he was some world beater as a sophomore is fan fiction, total re-imagining of history. He grew into the GOAT largely because of his surroundings, just as the team benefitted from his contributions.
They wouldn't have won in 2001-2004 without Tom... or Vinatieri, or Seymour... hell maybe they don't win in 2001 without Patrick Pass and Wiggins being clutch down the stretch in not one but two playoff games, one of which was the Super Bowl.
We've had to endure a season of watching horrid QB play with Cam under center, but let's not lose our heads.
The New England Patriots existed before Brady. No Brady, no patsfans.com website. No Wozzy.
So then yes give Bill all there credit. Brady would be washing cars right now if it wasn't for his savior.Yes, Kraft gets credit for hiring Bill.

You don’t realize what a quantum leap in logic this is? A bad player is still a bad player. If Bill was responsible for Brady, how come Rohan Davey, Kliff Kingsbury, Matt Cassel, Kevin O’Connell, Ryan Mallett, Jimmy G, Jacoby Brissett haven't played at the same level as Brady?
