Taking stock of the playoff races at the quarter pole of the NFL season

There you go again. Worst...show...ever btw

I can recognize that almost every game comes down to one or two plays. Sometimes we make them sometimes we don't. To say the Chiefs would've performed the same way if Cam was playing is unknown. Maybe they didn't get as amped up because they figured they had an easy win then ended up in a dog fight for a while. Unless you're a terrible team like the Jets you pretty much have an opportunity to win every game if you make a couple plays or the other team blows a couple plays. To just go around chalking up hypothetical wins is laughable.

One of the things that I noticed is that not many Pats fans make those absurd assumptions. I think it comes from the HC's attitude rubbing off on the fans.

The road to the playoffs looks pretty clear. Either the Pats beat out the Bills for the AFCE title or they have to beat out two of the four teams that don't win their divisions. Most likely those teams will be Vegas, Indy, Cleveland and Pitt. Since Cleveland and Pitt have pancake schedules our best hope would be having a better record than Indy or tying Vegas. With our remaining schedule that won't be easy.

Did the Titans Bills game come down to one or two plays? The majority of games are not one or two plays, we've been spoiled that the Pats are that good that almost every game they are in comes down to one or two plays. That's not how it is most of the time. Thinking that KC game wouldn't have been different with Cam is what's laughable. KC just got handled by the Raiders.

Half the games that have been played have been one score games, even though the scoring is way up. Half of the others were 11 points or less, which is indeed one or two plays away. Using one of the few blowouts to describe the NYFL is wrong.

lol, dude, I could care less about showing you anything. I'm saying that my philosophy has worked better for than you and I'm willing to prove it. You aren't, that's clear. I'm even letting you stack the deck by throwing out the criteria we use, but you still refuse. The only thing that says to anyone is that you don't think you can compete. We get it, best of luck to you. Good day sir
Just as I assumed. All big talk and no action. All hat and no cowboy.

Tell you what Tex. I never bet against Pats, but Ill make an exception for you. You guarantee 12 wins "minimum." I am calling out this foolishness and I will put up $100 that the Pats will lose more than 4 games. A Ben Franklin should be chump change for a man of your esteemed stature. Its time for you to step up and quit ducking and weaving.

The Bills outgained the Titans. It came down to 5-6 plays rather than one or two, which is why the score was so lopsided vs. a normal NFL game.

Told you I dont gamble already.

I'm not just throwing random things out, you define the success criteria and I'll mop the floor with you. Best of luck

Did the Bills have some key players missing? It sure looked that way.

After all that talk about what you've achieved and you are afraid to bet me.

Talk is cheap Son.

The one or two key plays is not how games go. There are multiple key plays every drive that keep teams in the game. Yeah, games that have no defense and teams that are matching each other score for score or the other way around, great defense stopping the offense the whole game look like it came down to a sngle play or two, but if they don't consistently execute, those one or two plays aren't going to help them.

Football is about consistency, there are few games that completely break on one or two plays

no one is denying their record. The loss against Seattle was a winnable game and the loss against the Chiefs was because we had tweedle dee and tweedle dum at QB for the game. If you can't recognize those mitigating factors, I don't know how you recognize much in life
What's really embarrassing is Bradyites hoping we suck this year probably so they can pound their chest that Brady made Bill. It can't be any more obvious Brady misses having Bill as coach a lot more than the other way around.

SUre there's no guarantee Pats would have won that game with Cam but I don't think you need to be a football genius to think they had a much better chance vs who they actually put out there at QB.
