Jaguars cut Lenny Fournette

I got 9-7 with some upside. This isn’t Brady’s offense anymore and shouldn’t be compared to that.
I wrote 8-8 tops in BobDigital's thread, though I still feel that it's going to be closer to 6-10.

If Brady is still Brady, who is realistically standing in their way in the NFC? The Saints are good but have been perennial playoff disappointments. I don’t see the Packers, Vikings, or Bears stopping them in the North. Maybe the Seahawks or 49ers in the West. Nobody in the East jumps out as a possibility. I’d have to think they’d be odds-on favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, assuming health.
Drew Brees throwing arm has been worn down the past 2 seasons. Brees is going the way of P Manning as a Bronco.

Bet against Brady.

You will find out.

He's 43 years old coming off a season where he showed none of the MVP traits many seem to think he still has. More likely that he meets the cliff this year than win a ring.

Really the only thing stopping Tampa is Brady...if Brady plays like Brady, they'll be lights out

If all goes wrong then possible. Like Cam getting injured. That's the floor imo. I still think this defense is too good to have a disaster season. Also some of those tough road games with the fan restrictions don't look nearly as daunting as they did months ago.

Agree. Stick a fork in him. Anyone who can’t put up Madden numbers with the future-HOF cast of skill position players we surrounded him with last year has to suck.

Talent around Brady wasn't good - and neither was the QB. The offensive struggles blame goes all around.

The QB was fine. He threw for over 4,000 yards in spite of the trash he was handed. They had among the worst WR corps in the league and had without a doubt the worst TE corps in the league. When his options at WR didn’t completely suck in the first month of the season, he was the best QB in the NFL. I get it. You’re hoping he sucks this year. That’s fine. But let’s at least be honest about where the problem lied last season. The receivers and TEs sucked so badly that the Patriots burned two draft picks on TE and re-tooled the offense into a power running offense ala Baltimore.

I would say if he can't get it done with this Bucs team then he's done...
I understand the excitement and it should be fun to watch, but it's so hard to win it all that you can't really say that. If they miss the playoffs then maybe you have a point but winning it all is very hard.

I am?

You sure seem to be.

Not at all. I don't believe he had a good year last season but I wish him well and hope he has a great year with his new team. Just don't get the anti-Belichick talk around here.

I’m betting that you are the kind of guy who think Cam will play at his 2015 level ! Be prepared to be disappointed. He’s career say he will not. This team is no better than 8-8. And I bet when Cam will play bad you’ll say that it is because he has no weapon !

Nobody has any idea what to expect, including you and I. I trust the coaching staff that he will be put in position to win.

I don’t see any anti-Belichick talk around here. I see people who are, rightfully, skeptical of the decision to move on until things play out over the course of the season. Of course, I could have missed something.
